More of this style of video! It's so incredibly helpful watching other amateurs like this in gameplay, but getting the pro critique during. More, more, more!
God this is so much more useful than analyzing Farag vs Coll. Real humans teach me more than athletic freaks of nature. So well done on this one. More please!
Super helpful stuff, thanks for posting! Taking steps backwards after serve is a classic mistake we all club players make! It is so good to see it so clear in the video!
Great real time analysis and amateur players can really understand the nuisances and importance of different elements in squash that are important to improve the game! Pls keep them coming
Great content, thanks for this. So useful to see 'our' errors explained. More more more! 6:00 No Let. Marcel started way back from the T. If he'd been correctly on the T, he had a direct path to the ball. Being so far out of position created the interference. 9:15 Stroke if Louis had not gone past the interference, so probably Let.
"being out of position created the interference" so what? It is interference nevertheless, and he would have time and opportunity to hit the ball had there not been any interference. It doesn't matter what causes the interference. If the drop was shorter then no let, but not a good enough dropshot, let for me.
More of this stuff please, I love it! Being an amateur player myself, these videos are at least as good as, if not probably even better than, watching the pros on SquashTV. The gameplay in your videos are so much more relatable to my own gameplay 😂 As for the let/no-let/stroke decision: under the best conditions I would say it's a stroke, but I'm hesitating because Marcel didn't seem to have his racket ready to play the shot, so if this were a game that I'd be refereeing I would give a no-let, also to avoid having to give easy strokes in the remainder of the match for the sake of consistency. Would Marcel clearly have been ready to play the shot, then it's definitely a stroke to me.
Very good and instructive video, thanks a lot for posting it! As a club player it's always nice to see how you correct the others during the game, this way I am learning how to apply the analysis to my game as well.
I like this. They look like they are hacing fun, but perhaps know each other's game a little too well. What is it about not following your own shot? I think i get it but maybe can be clarified further :)
6:03. Yes let. Traffic issues. Dark shirt guy was not ready enough to hit a winning return. I feel if light grey shirt guy was not in the way he could've returned the ball.
It was a stroke, moved into his line to the ball. I get the impression they'll look you in the eye, nod, agree, then carry on doing exactly what they have always done anyway. I've never lost a game that I have been watching, knew all the shots that should be played,, on the court not so much, everyone has a plan until they start getting punched in the mouth. Good food for thought though,
The most error I see occur is that the amateur player will try and hit winners. With this they either make a mistake or leave the court open and have to do more running. I would suggest keeping the ball in play, hit it as tight as possible and run! Most important enjoy 💪
The funny thing was Marcel did not even ask for a let… if he would have I would have giving him a let. I felt he was slightly late on the ball due to the pressure he was under of the rally, also the ball closer to the front wall then it looks so I feel he should go around to play it (no let is an option too!). However there is not much clearing of Louis and it was not a great volley drop, so I do understand the people who give a stroke. In the end of the day there is no right or wrong answer, just the perception of a referee, this is what the players need to deal with.

Really like type of content! Hard to find club level match analysis like this on RUclips - more of this!

So good. Really helpful. More of these type of videos please!
Very interesting, thank you for the video !
Suoer good! Really valuable and not so many resources that covers the tactic dimension on the game. Credit to the club players too!
Fantastic content.
Excellent video - great explanations. Thanks for posting.
Great video series 👌
Really helpful! I highly appreciate your videos Sebastian!
Minor detail: I would also prefer no music
Really good video, this is how someone can improve his game. Keep up!
Very helpful!!

I like the idea behind the videos but I find the music a bit loud and intrusive. I'd rather hear the ball and the game as it progresses.
Fantastic video again Seb. I reckon it was a stroke!
More videos this style👍
nice vid
Thank you for this! This is great!! What camera are you using to record?
My phone!
a lot of useful things!! very helpful (by the way...i think its a stroke..)

9:16. Yes let fair view.
Hey Seb, how should an amateur play against a pro/advanced player in order to make the best of it?

@@squashoriginals2392 thank you!
6:00 just a let, not fully ready, but enough interference. 9:15 stroke as he was ready and other guy stood on the ball
6:03 Stroke, Louis is not clearing the shot and so blocking the straight line to the ball from Marcel
At( 6.02 point) in this video i think it is let. What do you say ?

Not a single straight drop they were too far behind t for that
