Tracks to Big Adventures is back and better than ever. Episode 13 is the episode a lot of you have been waiting for, I just know it. The amount of production value that went into this is insane, so I really hope it was all worth it! Enjoy folks!
This video is made for adults and older people, it's not made for kids.
When Henry started pulling both Norman and Class 40 and his theme started playing that was enough to make a grown man cry
I agree
Nostalgia just socked me in the face when I heard Henry’s original theme while showing his incredible strength. Splendid. Absolutely splendid.
That was a great episode! It was a clever idea making Norman the lead, have D261 back again and seeing the engines sleep anywhere they can was grand. I give this a full 10/10!
The episode is super rescue
@@adamgore3354 I know
Gordon
Well said. I could ramble on about all the points you made, but you summed it up well. This series continues to be so ingenious and makes me very excited to see what comes next!
@@adamgore3354 the roles:
Norman as Bear/D7101
Bowler/D261 as Spamcan/D199
Henry is the same
Hiro as Donald.
Donald and Douglas as Duck
This felt like an episode straight from the Brenner era
Because it has a returning character (Class 40), a classic series recreation flashback (Bowled Out), a obscure character pairing (Henry and Norman) as well as a large cast of characters in one story weather it be leading roles, minor roles or cameos (cameos especially at the end) and amazing looking visuals.
If this were to be released during the Brenner era I think it might be one of the best episodes from that era.
It says a lot about how much more the fans care about this franchise than the actual owners when a fan series is genuinely better than the real show
The Owners are like BR while us fans are like the Island of Sodor.
I just love how much of a GigaChad Henry is here. Absolute. *PEAK!*
I like the callbacks in this episode and it's nice to get some character interactions the show never did.
And while establishing how Henry got the idea to move sheds.
I think Super Rescue would work as a Brenner or BWBA episode because if this was for the model era than the budget would really go down
Yeah, they should have thought of adapting it during Brenner or BWBA era. Sam Wilkison did say that he would like Bear to be introduced in the CGI era.
I don’t mind if they decide to leave Bear in his blue livery or change him to green, if this is cgi, anything can be done.
Yes
@@raqillathetankengine5536 true on a lot of levels
@@DavidBContentExtravaganza3967 honestly believe that they made super rescue that almost would’ve saved Bwba
I really, really enjoyed this. A modern retelling of a classic story done very well. And the fact that Henry is one of the lead characters makes this episode an instant favourite. I love most of the characters from Thomas and friends but... Henry is my favourite. Seeing him on screen is always a treat for me.
Finally! Norman gets a lead role and Bear actually gets a CGI Representation, even if it’s fanmade.
Super Rescue? At this time of day, in the style of this era of the series, localized entirely within RUclips?
Yes. And what a nice retelling it was.
This class 40 face looks so bad tbh
I must say, you're a cool channel and you made an awesome series.
I love that there is more care put into this and victor tanzigs series than all of the actual thomas franchise as a whole
Ummmm…
Too bad RUclips doesn’t care though.
This is what 'Forever and Ever' should have been.
No that was episode 2. This is Super Rescue, a modern retelling of a Railway Series story of the same title.
@@Cru5aderOW oanka😅w see s
I couldn’t agree more
I think you mean what 'Super Rescue' should have been.
Wow, this is a great episode. U adapted Super Rescue, gave Norman a spotlight episode, made Henry sleep at Vicarstown for a reason, and brought old Bowler back. Now this is what I call a Great tracks to big adventures episode ever. Only if u were a Thomas headwriter like Andrew Brenner.
(*Rubs Eyes*) Do my eyes deceive me? Or is Norman FINALLY GETTING THE LEAD ROLE IN AN EPISODE!!!!!! 😁😁😁😁
That’s great
@@thisdawg812 WHAT JUST HAPPENED?!?!
E
He is finally getting a major role in an episode.
oh Yes😁👍
•Knapford Sheds (Rebecca, Stafford, Stanley, Charlie)
Note: Rebecca sleeps at Tidmouth Sheds with the Main Line Engines (Gordon, James, Emily, Molly), Stanley and Charlie resides at the sheds in Knapford Shunting Yards, while Knapford Sheds are for Murdoch, Pip & Emma, Hank, Lara and Speedy & Zippy
•Ffarquhar Sheds (Daisy, Percy, Rosie)
Note: Daisy now sleeps in her shed at the Harwick Branch Line with Ryan, Liz and Samantha while Thomas now resides at Ffarquhar Sheds with Lady, Percy, and Rosie.
•Vicarstown Sheds (Hiro, Connor, Caitlin, Logan, Henry, Norman, Bear, Basil, Samson).
•Knapford Shunting Yard Sheds (Philip)
Note: Philip now sleeps at Edward’s shed on the Brendam Branch Line.
•The Little Western Sheds ("Devious" Diesel)
Note: "Devious" Diesel resides permanently at Vicarstown Dieselworks.
With every new episode I’m impressed by the quality of this series. They really feel like they could be real episodes and look almost as good as a properly animated show.
Mr. Percival: OH NO I DON'T WANT YOU HERE ANY LONGER.
me: he's saying I'm done with your bullshit
Wow! This is awesome! Your version of Super Rescue with Norman and Class 40 included with bigger roles in Bear and D199's places, Henry's new reason to sleep at Vicarstown and the engines can now sleep wherever they can in any shed they find though two engines don't like it such as Duck and Diesel, based on their rivalry. You're a genius, my man. Can't wait to see more from you.
11:04 Notice how this shot of Henry is an exact mimic of the one in the book, you all know the one i mean... the iconic illustration when he has that smug expression, same angle and all. Almost didn't catch that, well played man. This really was Henry's swansong. Super Rescue is just the best. 💚
this is a Really nice explanation to henry suddenly leaving tidmouth
even though i wish to see CGI versions of D199 and Bear, this overall a really good cgi adaption of super rescue. And Norman finally got an episode very nice.
The story/episode where Henry is the BIGGEST chad ever. This was absolutely beautiful and I cannot wait for more!
I've especially wanted to mention that I personally love how they certainly were ACTUALLY able to easily include Hiro who basically based on a D51 from railways in Japan with a Mikado wheel configuration into the episode!
This is fantastic and a much much better reason for Henry to stay at Vicarstown. Bravo to all involved. Bloody brilliant adaptation 😊❤️
Feels weird for a shunter to be pulling The Limited, so I think Norman could've been given a different train.
Then again, not many big diesels in the TV Series. I still appreciate the bigger role he was given.
A very, very respectful way to move Henry out of Tidmouth sheds. Also, it is logical for engines to sleep in the nearest shed available to them after a hard day's work.
If only Mattel had some brains.
Apart from Duck, Oliver, Ryan and Daisy on their branch lines. They can still sleep in sheds on their lines.
_"Oh, it's you."_ Way to reintroduce Bowler there, dude. 😉 In fact, this is quite the adaptation you've made out of the original story.
"Green caterpillar with red stripes". "Grasping at straws". "Percolator on roller blades". Bowler's got a colorful, extensive vocabulary. 😆
To his credit, Bowler proved Donald and Douglas wrong by _not_ wailing for his fitter. 😜And he's voiced by none other than Dmman33. Great casting! 👍
13:49 dang hiro really let out his not nice self
Love the Super Rescue story alongside that amazing message about engines staying wherever they please to rest. It gives me vibes to opens up to more story ideas with other engines in different locations in the island and to establish more characters/character developments and sets. Awesome work to you and the crew, keep it up!
Now this is fan service done right (in my opinion). Another fantastic episode, I love the D261 model and that Norman is in an episode as well as the engines not having assigned sheds is much better that before. This is really going to be hard to choose my favorite episode so far
Another great episode.
Having the engines able to sleep almost anywhere is a great tool to set up episodes and character match-ups that we wouldn't see normally; I'm surprised the actual series didn't implement something like it.
Such a contrast between D261 and the Sodor diesels. An early series diesel clashes very starkly with the later series diesels; it really shows how steam-diesel relations have evolved and strengthened on the island.
I love this episode, its a very nice adaptation and not to mention the prop of class 40. The prop just feels so nitrogen with how it was done, with imperfections making it unique (like toad's model).
12:06 Welp, that’s gonna give me the feels for some time now. Absolutely stupendous job as always.
Judging from what I saw in the trailer for this season, I have a hunch that this’ll be a Super Rescue adaptation but with D261 as Spamcan and Norman as Bear 🤔
That was one of the best stories I have ever seen from you. Norman and Henry getting an episode together, I was not expecting to see that old face return to Sodor. Well done on a remarkable story. Thank you for letting me voice one of the Trucks 😀.
Seriously, how can fans can create so much better stories
Donald and Douglas's voices are 10/10 👍👍👍👍👍
This is super rescue in cgi! And there’s Bowler/D261 in a cgi model too. It’s beautiful!
Thought his face looks like old stuck up
Finally! Someone acknowledges sheds as sheds and not as character status symbols!
Anyway, hooray for a fresh take on Super Rescue. It's unfortunate we couldn't get a "CGI" Bear, but at least this gives some character development to Norman.
Now to keep an eye out for an adaptation of "Duck & Dukes", if the season trailer was anything to go by...
Never expected Logan to talk like that... o_O
Other than that; you gave a nice solution to the whole moving sheds thing.
It makes sense for the engines to just sleep at the nearest sheds to their last job of the day, rather than travelling all the way to their "home" sheds.
By far my favorite Super Rescue adaption ever, this is so unique thank you for making this lol
I always loved the story. Henry is my favorite character of all time, I always love listening to peoples versions of super rescue. Great work.👍👍🙂
That was phenomenal! It was amazing how Norman had a leading roll, he’s pretty under-rated, so I like how he had a leading role. I also love the ending with the “any engine can sleep at any shed” like a actual railway, you made this seem so real and it’s amazing! Please do more of this it’s amazing how you made this! This is beautiful, I love this!
This definitely has to be my favourite episode from Tracks to Big Adventures so far! With Rajiv's Royal Disaster coming at a close second!
Another fantastic and amazing episode. This series just gets better every time. Also the dialogue was excellent. D261 getting his comeuppance, the super rescue scene and the Sheds arrangements was terrific.
I agree
bowler is basically a Karen in this series, I can just imagine him saying "WAIT UNTIL YOUR MANAGER HEARS ABOUT THIS", but a very nice and funny tale.
This is absolutely fantastic. The Super Rescue remake/reboot is amazing in CGI form with Norman and Bowler
I Only Wish Super Rescue had Bear and Spamcan, than that would be a Very Very Very Very Very Very Very Very Very Very cool Super Rescue.
The ending is something I would have loved to happen in the actual CGI Show. (Having Engines not be permanently based at one shed and just have them sleep anywhere they are at the time their work is done).
Great video. Wasn't expecting Norman and D261 to take the roles of the diesels in the Railway Series version, though. And wow, Henry actually going to Vicarstown Sheds, with the engines sleeping at whatever shed is closest to them.
A excellent rewrite of enterprise engine and "stupid move out", I love it!
Oh it’s good to see Bowler again and a brilliant take on super rescue
Even though I got a warning, Edward cursing still caught me off guard.
This was definitely a step up from that 5 second clip from forever and ever, I loved it so much and the adaption was very good and a unique take on Super Rescue. The writing has taken a big step up compared to earlier episodes! Good Job!
I thought it was an adaption of super rescue, thou I wish the signalman had threatened him with his can opener, favorite line of the original story
Great adaptation of awdrys original story also good use of Norman
Ah, just like Tug suggested in giving Henry a proper sendoff... adapting one of Henry's finest moments. And what better engine to play Spamcan than ol' D261? Bravo!
Everyone was at victerstown station to celebrate henry's strength victory they also warm welcomed Norman too
And the thin controller was very cross with Class 40
This is a great loose adaption for Super Rescue! It would have been nice if that story was adapted into the TV series. I also really love the fact that the show now has engines sleep wherever like how it was at the beginning of the TV series and makes things more realistic.
weird how rebecca only makes a minor appearance in her cousin's lead episode
Wow! Your episode was amazing because this was like the RWS story Super Rescue when Henry pushes and pull Norman and Class 40 just like he pushes and pull Bear and D199!
You beautiful mad lads! You adapted Super Rescue and it was glorious!!! That moment when Henry pushed and pulled the two trains sent shivers down my spine.
I was literally cheering Henry on!
D261 is back I can’t believe henry still remember him
As much as I hate the idea of Henry moving to Vicarstown which geologically wouldn’t make sense I love the way you handled his moving out.
According to the online video "Still the Best of Friends", the official reason Henry relocated to Vicarstown was to be closer to his work, referring to his taking trains to the Mainland in Tale of the Brave and Journey Beyond Sodor.
@@DavidBContentExtravaganza3967 Think about it…. Where do the Trains to the Mainland start… either Tidmouth Knapford or Brendam now if he’s sleeping at Vicarstown, the travel from Vicarstown all the way to Brendam or Tidmouth whatever head canon you have to take the Kipper and he has to travel the same distance to take his freight trains to the main land so moving him to Vicarstown is just pointless.
@@LMS5935 David Brennan hates it when others try to have their own takes.
@@joshuaW5621 …oh ok
@@LMS5935 Ian McCue stated that Henry was originally going to remain at Tidmouth Sheds alongside Rebecca in the Steam Team though BWBA changed those plans sadly. Did that help you feel a bit better?
Now this is how ya fix Mattel’s screw ups!
Super Rescue is one of my all-time favorite RWS stories. I absolutely loved this take as well as giving Henry a legitimate reason to be in Vicarstown.
Wow, absolutely brilliant. Amazing visuals, fine voice acting and an updated version of a classic story. Bravo 👏👏👏👏
This is how Super Rescue would have worked as an episode.
I actually made 2 super rescue adaptions, but they were lost with my old account.
Now, that's the way to get Henry to Vicarstown Sheds while still sleeping at Tidmouth Sheds. Very nice story. Looking forward to episode 14.
8:55 *sees Henry driving backwards on his own*
Oh, so this is a Super Rescue adaptation?
What an AMAZING episode!!
Not only did you make a side character like Norman a lead character but you made a story based on one of the most legendary Railway Series stories out there - Super Rescue!
Please keep up this brilliant work and I can’t wait for what you have in store next.
This is what I am forever classing as the canon Thomas series after Season 21.
At first I was wondering why this was simply called "Episode 13." Now I know why and omg that was such a good call. It helped leave me in awe!
Why is it called Ep. 13, we know it's the 13th episode
@@Matts_Creations Probably to keep the content a surprise until you watch it.
@@Marius-pg4hn It's now called Super Rescue.
This is so good!!! And it’s i’ve been out for a while I don’t know how I didn’t see this when it came out! but I wish this was an actual CGI episode
Norman has a lead role and another episode based on railway series. You sir are a genius
What another brilliant episode that’s adapted off my favorite RWS story Super Rescue!! I’m so glad that Norman finally got himself a main role in this alongside Henry and the returning old face of D261!! Plus I love the love the concept idea that engines staying in other sheds closer to their work or when their tired is something Mattel could NEVER do!! XD Overall another fantastic episode!! And I give it a 10/10!! 😃😃😃😃
A solid episode mate! You really made it a great surprise for all of us! And this is a brilliant CGI take on Super Rescue from the Railway Series (only with D261 and Norman in Spamcan and Bear's places). Speaking of Norman, as a character in the show, he always feels like a blank slate and kinda pointless (to which I feel that Dennis could've returned since he seemed to have more character). But as for other interpretations of him in the fan content, I really like how they expanded more with him, and you did a brilliant job giving him lack of confidence b/c of breaking down. As for D261/Bowler, I really enjoyed what you did with him as well as that CGI recreation of Bowled Out.
The music is really great and Henry's CGI-styled S4 theme is a masterpiece. I did enjoy that piece of humor like when Dart can't come up with other words to say "What he (Den) mean is" and for the ending part where Henry and all the other engines are now gonna sleep at different sheds when they are closer to their work and other odd jobs, that is SO much better than what the actual show tried. I hope we get a redemption episode for Gordon this season. But I guess we'll have to wait and see.
Also, I can't help but notice that my Cranky lines are omitted in this, but I'll look pass it as it is still an enterprising masterpiece!
Love this rendition especially with the addition of Norman and Hiro!
Love Henry’s little blush at 13:04! So cute!
And God save the Queen! Love it!
5:03 You tell him Norman!
Is that Bowler!
NORMAN??? OMG IM SO EXCITED to see my BOY get the love and attention he deserves :DDDD.
*EDIT: wow, I wasn’t expecting this to be a Super Rescue adaptation, but it was a really great one nonetheless! I love the way you incorporated Norman into it to give him some much needed screen time and development, this would’ve been perfect for the TVS but I love it here nonetheless. Also great seeing Bowler in CGI too. And of course, the way you worked in Henry staying at Vicarstown was very clever and fitting as well. This was just awesome. Can’t wait for the next installment! :D
"wasn't expecting this to be a Super Rescue adaptation"
The title: am I a joke to you?
Well at least D261 seemed determined to finish the job, surely Mr. Percival can appreciate that.
Norman getting a lead role? POGGERS!
This is officially hands down my favorite episode of this series, what a amazing adaptation of Super Rescue. Great Job Thomasfan2002 keep up the great work.
Reenactment of the classic story with a TV series twist. Beautiful work. 😊
Super Rescue 2! What a great episode.
This is how you throw fan service. Give it gently over the episode and now thrown at us at once.
Proof Henry is such a chad
Haha! Having Bowler as Spamcan is perfect! JBS was okay but I'm just gonna accept this as the canon BWBA
Well my goodness this was amazing! I loved your adaptation of Super Rescue quite a lot! It was very clever to bring back Class 40 and having Norman as a lead role is very clever as well indeed! And not to mention the Rescue scene gave me instant goosebumps with that great Henry Theme Orchestra Splendid Job can’t wait to see what else you have in store for us!
This was great! Lovely little episode adapting a railway series story in a new light.
A Step up form last time. Take that RUclips (kicks)
I love the way it ties with the og super rescue
Honestly this is probably the best way to adapt super rescue into cgi without bear
2:38 Thanks for helping Norman, Henry.
this was a fantastic episode, to quote the unlucky tug “what a chad moment”
Very Important Diesel or VID for short is a term used for snobbish diesels like bowlers, very classic remake of Super rescue
Excellent episode using Super rescue as a loose tie in was an brilliant idea as well.
I've especially wanted to mention that I personally love how Hiro joined Mr Percival in scolding D261 before Hiro took him back to the Other Railway on the mainland with a goods train that apparently was basically running late when D261 wanted a diesel engine to take him back to the Other Railway!
I've especially wanted to mention that I personally love how Henry the Green Engine pushed Norman to Vicarstown AFTER Norman broke down as usual SINCE he certainly had been mentioned to clearly have faulty parts as well as explaining 'bout his own official problems back in his old shape! In fact, it's completely obviously clear that this version of Super Rescue clearly recaps from the episode titled Bowled Out when D261 came from the Other Railway to help out as well as the obvious observation of D261 teasing Stephen who'd seriously been claimed to be a very important piece of railway history!
This was my favorite episode of this entire series. I love it. This is how Henry should of been written off...
Oh I see D261 has returned to sodor and has a cgi model
