Great power, great sound for a 3" K series, great look being subtle and clean, great wheel choice, and great fitment! This little Integra has it all!!!
Nothing like K series power! I had an ls vtec Ef, which was nice but now I have an Ek k24a2 completely stock. The power and torque is nice on the street. Next mods are the vtc, oil pump, and drop in cams are definitely the next steps.
Definitely good numbers 🔥 but definitely good work Nick! Stumbled on this now must binge watch 😂 And nice for mentioning cold weather etc a lot here will claim the dyno compensates, sure it does but the engine itself runes “better” at 2am vs 2pm due to air temp diff.. cool on the vtc numbers same as I always show including a/f readings on the dyno and I got a bunch of “tuners” telling me to do it right 😂 not realizing we also run a separate wideband off the engine not just the sole sniffer… Ok gonna binge watch now @tuningbynick
Cool video. I'm not impressed by the power, tho. Should have done 270whp with those mods, especially with the temp. The 80mm tb is too big to be port matched to an rbc. The rbc mouth hogged out to tin can thickness is 78mm and would break almost immediately. With that 80mm, a decent centerfeed plenum would net another 20 or so whp imo.
Good work , but ,why does he need 1050 cc injectors on an NA 4cyl setup making those numbers ? My gtr makes 686 hp at the crank using IDX 1050ccs . Couldn’t he have made that power on a lot smaller injector size and still had room at those power levels?
I have a question for you. Do you have experience with a turbo engine with these camshafts? I have a set and will be going turbo with higher compression as well. I'm on the cusp of selling mine and just going OEM TSX camshafts.
I have a 94 integra and unfortunately blew the B series before I could get around to turboing it. This is pretty much the exact same build I want to do however I was hoping to reach high 200 to low 300. What would need to be changed/added to a setup like this to achieve 300ish whp on a k24?
Probably you'll have to open it and use some higher compression pistons and also a more aggressive set of cams with a built head and better intake manifold
I rev my kfrank to 8g with stock JDM k24 oil pump. Have been for five years. Over 8g for extended periods of time like track racing then use a type s pump.
He said it had a type s oil pump. Guy probably wants the engine to hold together and the dc drop in cams probably started to taper off. If he had bigger cams I’m sure it would like the more rpm

Where you located at
Thanks for VTC numbers. What a beauty and a screamer!
Vtec crossover sounds awesome 👏🏼 so sweet
That crossover is like a truck hitting a brick wall. Jesus..
Wow crazy good numbers for DICs. Owner will definitely fall in love after that first pull 😅
Like the car and vid. Simple and straight to the point!
Damn this shit probably moves 💨💨
That vtec crossover sounds sooo good
You should see that with a K20A head on it🤙🚀

That teggy is so clean 🤩 I want it! ✌🏻
Yeah nice numbers can't complain even with 230hp
this car is an awesome build
Sounds amazing, this video gave me some motivation to work on my k swap, thank you.
Appreciate the VTC info you shared 🍻
Love how it sounds crazy 🔥🔥
His battery location is crazy
Frrrr❤
Do an awd setup + turbo and that car is perfect
excellent results

Very nice street setup 👌

Would love to watch this car blast down the road or on a track
I would love to build something like this
Clean
Sick Teg 🔥💯
I have a similary setup on e85 on a frank setup with 06-08 tsx cams. making 260whp now would these get me to the 300whp?
love it
Since power is measure at the wheel. Using the right tire size will produce much closer numbers. K series normal run on 25” tire perimeters
“In vtec we believe”
Nick can you make a boost map video teaching things about k series and boost
Sick.

Yes 550cc is enough for this setup
But he will probably go.turbo soon if he buyed 1050cc injectors
Very nice.
Should it be returned or at least checked/optimized when it's very hot?
Vtec is the way 🤌🏽
can you do a inside pov of the pulls?

nick.... is it that you schedule all the honda dyno sessions around this time?
What battery holder/relocation kit is that?
What brand of intake is that??
Hey do you tune 4 wheel drive?
How much would a K20a head add?

Hello 8000rpm for a k24 it's not to much? Or it's ok for that set up?
It has the type s oil pump so it’s okay, from the RSX type s
@@cartere9981 oh ok, the stock k24 rod accept that hight rpm? I always heard the limit for k24 is 7500rpm
@@humble.53my stock k24 in my rsx revs to 7.8k, I’ve seen people rev up to 8k as well on stock k24s no oil pump
I rev my kfrank to 8g with stock JDM k24 oil pump. Have been for five years. Over 8g for extended periods of time like track racing then use a type s pump.
I turn mine at 8k with 13PSI boost... type S oil pump, valve springs/retainers.
😍🤩
What are the prices on those drop in cams
Same as regular 2.2 & 3.2
Would it make more on E85🤔
typically yes, about 10-15% more
So to confirm that’s 259whp or 259hp ??
No
@@jordanancel3622 your reply makes no sense lol
What red hardware is that on the valve cover, under the bolts. Anyone know?
Washers
8k rpm? Why didn’t go a lil higher?
Most likely it has a stock oil pump and not a type s pump
@@cindyyhaamcould be the case and if thats the case its kinda crazy to put cams and not upgrade the pump that always go together

Sounds like a K20A
Also it’s seem to pull a lot harder than 250 hp lol 😅 it’s like 350-400 from the look of it.
" done everything you can do to it " fbo is not much .. if he did everything he would have a fully built motor 🤡
