Excellent . I don't know if you are active at the moment on this Chanel but your tips are really amazing. I' ll practice them at the shooting range Next time. Thanks a lot. Did you read me? 👍
Zins will hold a highly anticipated Bullseye Pistol Clinic here in Southern California at Desert Marksman Range this weekend Sept. 13-14 2024. Can't wait! 😂 I'll be there!❤
Outstanding. I'm a relatively new shooter (age 78) and I tried IDF, Chris Sanoj, Silverado, Rob Leatham, Jerry Miculek. You're the only one I've seen who unifies what you do to fire a pistol accurately and under pressure. The definition of the function of the trigger is the heart of it. I'd add that I believe it's better and more efficient to fire one handed than two. Asking your brain to synthesize information from two different source (left and right hands) into one simple piece of info is asking the impossible. I'm biased because I spent decades researching the psychology of human performance (Ph.D. 1964) and this past year experimenting with one-handed shooting. In my current practice regimen, I alternate left and right on different targets at different distances, so that I'm not training myself to do one thing but to learn to adapt to different conditions. Maybe it's an illusion but I feel more competent for doing this.
Six years later: Coming in late here, but I am trying to play along at home, with air pistols. It comes to me just now that someone might have an optic that attaches to the instructor's pistol, and has video out! So we could SEE what a better marksman sees! I have a long way to go, but anything helps, sometimes even casual remarks. I can see I need less coffee and more exercise... and who wants THAT?
Very helpful. I think that's where a lot of communication problems lie between shooters. What is seen and what happens at the same time or in which order will not reach the ear of a another shooter. There is so much talk about the guns, the time and attachments that there is little talk about the actual shooting if the type of handgun is removed.
Great video, but I want to know where you got that eye cove from ? I would like to buy one of those. I keep wanting to close my right eye lid when I am shoot and I want to be able to keep both eyes open
