We should extract greenhouse gases from the atmosphere of Venus and take them to Mars. That would help to terraform Mars and maybe start the much longer process of terraforming Venus too.
A lot of closed minded people here. I believe it's theoretically possible, although, if we found a way to reverse the green house effect, I think it would be smarter to do it here first. So at least we still have a healthy home world.
@@bladerbrawlers it does have a magnetic field, atmosphere protects you from radiation and radiation levels are same as here on earth and on clouds(since no one is going to land and live on surface for a looong while) where you will be floating on its 1 day is 4 earth days So here evrything you say it has it
What if you somehow pump Venus atmosphere for resources and fuel for space ships and maybe in time pressure of that atmosphere would fall and if we can get the pressure to Earth atmospheric pressure than maybe we coud change some other elements of Venus also

all venus is good for is for us to look ar as an example of what a runaway green house does to a planet, because it is in earths near future if we dont act now to delay it as much as possible
Venus was birthed from Saturn that's why its the way it is, its rotation is slowing and is going to rotate the same way as the earth then it will cool down a fair bit.
Colonization does not need to mean Terraforming as it is likely possible to have aerostat habitats in the 50-60 km altitude range of Venus where the temperature and pressure values become earthlike. Yes, your primary resource would only be the atmosphere itself (CO2, nitrogen, sulfuric acid, and trace amounts of chlorine, fluorine and Nobel gasses), but with those elements you can create a vast array of polymer and carbon-based building materials. Add in future advancements in carbon micro-materials and you may even be able to work out replacements for electronic needs. Beyond that, other small quantity materials could be indefinitely recycled, delivered from earth or it could be worked out how to surface mine the planet with robots. Hardly beyond the realm of possibility.
There is so many silly things in video im not going to even bother to write but just an example you dont make a solar shield IN THE ATMOSPHERE you do that in the lagrange point IN SPACE it wouldnt even work in the atmosphere your solar shade would be rotating the planet every 4 days and wouldnt work. This is just one of the many fatal flaws in this video
Terraforming venus more doable than mars. Bcause mars is so cold and too far from the sun. But my question is. What for live in another planet. Earth is the only one lifeable. We never see another smart creature every galaxy. Where they are?? Or god just create human 😄

This video is very ill-informed. You definitely could colonize Venus, and it would be easier than Mars. You'd just have to use floating balloon airbases in the upper atmosphere. You'd get complete protection from cosmic and solar radiation, enough gravity to prevent loss of bone and muscle mass, temperatures cool enough to support liquid water, air pressure equal to that of earth. The only problem would be the acid, but we have corrosion resistant materials already.
Could We Colonize Venus? NO. "Venus' atmosphere consists mainly of carbon dioxide, with clouds of sulfuric acid droplets. The thick atmosphere traps the Sun's heat, resulting in surface temperatures higher than 880 degrees Fahrenheit (470 degrees Celsius)."
Wrong. We can. Carbon dioxide is valuable resource - oxigen, methane and graphene can be produced on Venus orbit and in troposphere. Tankers will transfer oxigen and methane to Moon and Earth.
@@oldmanfromscenetwentyfour8164 This is on surface. You no need go on surface to harness CO2 or water vapors. You can use airship on 50-60km as habitats and connect them with orbit space station by space lift. You can put on orbit solar power stations and oxigen factories. But even on surface you can use robots and type of Earth water bells. First under water works were done with water bells, before special suits were created. Similar bells with cooling can be dropped on Venus surface for exploration. But what we need from Venus is oxigen, methane, graphene in mass volumes. Venus will supply Earth, Moon, Mars and asteroid belt with oxigen, methane and base constructions.
@@oldmanfromscenetwentyfour8164 Mars not easier, much harder. You need much more energy to heat Mars, long distance, low gravitation, harmful for human, poisonous soul, high radiation level and mist important - nothing to do there. Just put a flag, that humanity was there. Or elements we need we can get on Earth or Moon. Mars can be footstep for exploration asteroid belt and Jupiter, Saturn, etc. Venus ready for industrial development, can be recreational base for astronauts and tourism, source of oxigen for Moon, Earth and Mars. You can build flying fields and grow crops on 50-60km height. Also thick atmosphere of Venus make this great place for using power of air. Airships can be used for space lift, space launch pads, flying farms and factories. And you can have kids on Venus and not impossible on low gravitation planets. For kids development we need normal gravitation.

There is no way mankind can survive on Venus the way it is currently. However, a space station in orbit may be possible in the distant future.
Yes, there are many things we would need to adapt definitely!

So you think Venus will become tidal locked to the sun eventually? Seeing how it’s rotation is incredibly slow.
For a long time Mercury was thought to be tidally locked to the sun, but it's not.
