@@jstrada5077 There are two ways. You can live by the 10 commandments and fail miserably. Or, you can live by faith through the Holy Spirit and fulfill the righteousness of the law by the Holy Spirit working in you. Watered down is how I see 7th Day Adventism, purporting to promote saved by Grace, but adding some deadly doctrines as Sabbath keeping as an adjunct to the blood of Christ and thereby become a works based salvation doctrine, not unlike Roman Catholicism. Your are saved by faith, but that does not mean that the process of sanctification stops. I know where Pastor Doug is going with this, he is suggesting that works are required to maintain that initial act of Salvation therefore you need to keep the "Law" not only but including the Sabbath and the Investigative Judgement which was instituted after the failed prediction of Christ back in 1844 so the "IV" was added to SDA doctrine where Christ instead of returning in 1844 entered the Holy of Holies in 1844 and cleansed the temple and christian are being investigated to see if they will be saved. Therefore Christ death on the cross to save the lost was not finished and is still ongoing, kind of like a Catholic purgatory.
