Except for the fact that Spain didnt, it was 50/50 and the entire game smelled like that. Lucky win for Spain in the end. In all statistics except for the goal, the german side was better.

I think the biggest issue with France here is Deschamps failure to realise that Mbappe will be efficient with the team if he plays as CF, Barcola LW and RW Dembele. Bench Griezmann. He's really under performing compared to World Cup 2022. Instead of using Rabiot for the semis, use Camavinga instead for midfield. Defence? Is already perfect.

Spain advanced because the English ref didn't call a clear handball that would have been a goal for Germany. It is not subjective! The man's body was going one way and his arm was out in a different direction. I played a lot of defense and could have had my arms out "naturally" all the time. Clearly a penalty. It is not subjective. The VAR and ref failed.
It was offsite anyway? And you could say the system failed Pedri as well!

VAR did not fail, the referee didnt want to use VAR, he saw the handball and refused to see it like that...there is nothing VAR can do about it. It would have been a waste of time to go out and rewatch it since he had no intention to give a pen to begin with. This referee has even in england a bad reputation, idk why he was even invited by UEFA.
@@zahradelrio2549 It was not offside, I did not see a single proof of that so far. The german player is covering the spanish player, one simply can not see if it was offside without a VAR check.
Nico Williams and Lamine Yamal dont have to recover, they played maybe 60 min but Rodri looked as finished as Kroos...that Rodri guy cant play another 120min in the semi final.
