Dr. Lauren Graham, co-director of the Rheum/Derm clinic at UAB joined our Zoom support group for those living with Dermatomyositis, Polymyositis and Antisynthetase syndrome to educate about the skin manifestations of myositis and sun protection (in a separate video).
In this video, she shares the various DM rashes, dry skin and itch tips, info about digital ulcers, cuticles, Raynaud's, and more.
The sun can cause flares so protecting ourselves is essential.
