I have Mercury and sun in Capricorn. We are best at learning things by being self taught, especially if it is something that is of interest to us and not something we are forced to learn just for the sake of school work and education or employment purposes. But learning something new that we enjoy and want to know more about is very enjoyable and is one of the most pleasurable things for such a practical, organized earth sign.

Same here... but for how she's describing herself somehow I am more like her... than her assistant. I have tried that of posting and making my post times predictable.. .but nah... these days I post on the mood. I try to stick to more or less one a day on each page and one blog a week... but I find it extremely hard to stick to it. Perhaps here is where my ADHD makes sense.
So true about examples with learning.This is how I got through all of my math classes in school. I ignored the description passages, just look at the example(s) and figure out the pattern.
I have Capricorn in Mercury and I agree with what you've said - I learn through repetition and I share that information to others at its most minimal form.

Nice to see people with similar brain. Repetition is the only way to learn, presenting in simplest/organized way, documenting everything so that it won't slip away from attention, preparing a lot to feel satisfied still feeling dry, not remembering the routes on the road until driven on them for 4-5 times and then remembering those routes for life time.
I also have Mercury in Capricorn with Virgo ASC and Gemini on my MC - I love repetition and don't like wasting half my time in unnecessary meetings at work. Plus for some reason I don't retain much from a meeting unless I find it useful.

I was a classical musician for years, and repetition was a useful technique. Mercury in Cap trine Pluto in Virgo according to the calculator. Now I have an idea what that means. This is an intriguing video due to it's accuracy. Thank you Lada Duncheva.

Coming from a mercury capricorn: structure is great, but so is following your heart and your inspiration in the moment! :) the best stuff is often spontaneous. Capricorn is at it's highest point in the material world and needs to learn some Aquarius! Be free, girl! You're awesome!

Yesss repetition is the best way I learn and no nonsense when dealing with serious matters, I can be very structured and organised when I want to. However the silent, pessimistic mindset is completely not me as I have Jupiter conjunct and mars in a very wide trine that still powerfully aspects my mars, so I can be positive and loud, deliver elaborate stories and am known to be argumentative and speak very fast, my mind is always active! I am thankful that my mercury is in Capricorn as it gives me that structure and seriousness when it comes to important life situations that I otherwise wouldn't have if in another sign! It's my chart ruler as well as have gemini ascendant and I am interested in astrology and deep hidden subjects due to mercury being in the 8th house, all makes so much sense!
