Thanks for the tour!! I used to live in Tuscon in the mid- 1970s. Yeah if I went there I would hunt down the Euphorbias first also!! Hahaha! Love them!!! Great Ariocarpus!! My oldest plants in my greenhouse I've had 40 years. Many others at 38 years. Bought many at California cactus center in Pasadena California! I've lived in the Ozarks 37 years now. Love your videos! Great tours!! If you would like to see my greenhouse , go to Morris park in the Ozarks!! Have a great day!!! Peace,Love,Plants!!!✌💖🌵🌸🌴💐🌲🌷🌳🌺🌿🌹
Dude these are so good. I got into these plants around 95 and I had to book old books to get info, finding information was tough... finding good plants wasn’t possible aside from local greenhouses, here in the east there’s just not the same interest in this stuff. Finding jade trees and crown of thrown I’d about the best you’d usually find. Now you can spend your entire life geeking out on cactus and succulents. If this channel existed in 95 I’d have been in heaven!
I am moving to Tucson in six weeks and I think this video is amazing. I live in Florida and I used to have many plants here I don’t want to stop having plants but I have to adapt to the new beautiful tucson
Thanks for another great video. The lithop collection was incredible. The little poppies scattered in the pots were cute. They look like they would make nice companion plants👍🌵
If I were in that lithops greenhouse I’d have the same reaction as you. Holy cow those specimens are so beautiful. Thank you so much for sharing this. New sub! ♥️♥️♥️
I’m a new cacti and succulent nut and just ordered my first lithops from plants for the southwest. So incredibly jealous of folks living closer to these awesome nurseries. Very jazzed for some happy plant butts! \m/\m/
There’s a scientist/hobbyists that does genetics for lithops and I’d be willing to bet the owner and that guy have a relationship already and if they don’t they need to be introduced since he has a collection acquired over thirty years ago that was already established making them I’d be willing to bet into 40+ yrs old. Here’s the link to Joeys video with the scientist. ruclips.net/video/MncyGuQc_gc/видео.html
Cactus Quest should be changed to Succulent Quest. I checked out the channel to get information on cactus. You should also pair scientific name with common name.
I shop here a lot! The folks at PlantsoftheSouthwest are 2nd to none! Just started collecting lithops; what better place to have close by!

tie dyed Lophophora shirt says a lot about how cool this gentleman is! Thanks for taking us here!
The genetics alone in the lithop conophytum specimens are invaluable.
