When foreign vloggers came to Bangladesh few years before, they used to make a wrong impression of Bangladesh by just showcasing places like old Dhaka and Karwan Bazar, which are chaotic and dirty. Although nowadays that tendency has changed and the vloggers are exploring the modern Dhaka as well. But still few vloggers go out of the city and explore the raw beauty of Bangladesh. You came to visit Bangladesh in 2018 when very few vloggers used to come to Bangladesh. You did a tremendous job by showcasing the colourful urban culture of Dhaka as well as exploring the natural and rural beauty of Bangladesh. I would love to see you exploring Rajshahi city, located to the western part of Bangladesh, on the bank of Padma river. I love Dhaka and Bangladesh. The people are very hospitable and welcoming. I did travel on the excellent Metro on my last visit. I’m not keen on Gulshan, it has no character and could be in any major City. I love Old Dhaka which has retained all its fantastic character. I am returning to Dhaka for my 5th visit this April. Visited Indonesia 3 times so far (before Covid) and absolutely loved it. We visited Medan, Lake Toba, Bukittinggi, Padang, Pagar Alam, Palembang, Bandar Lampung, Jakarta, Bogor, Bali, Makassar, Rantepao, Tana Toraja, Tentena, Bada Valley, Lore Lindu NP, Ampana, Togean island Una Una, Gorontalo, Manado, Sorong, Raja Ampat islands Kri, Pianemo n Arborek. We want to come visit Indonesia again. Love & respect from Bangladesh.

Unfortunately that's where the metro terminated back in December so earlier this month the full line was opened on a full time basis. I'm glad you showed that the country is developing as a contrast because many people think of Bangladesh rife in poverty. I must say you can now get a decent barista coffee over as no doubt you've enjoyed, prices are almost on par (but a touch cheaper) with the UK / Ireland taking into consideration the exchange rate, but once you head into rural areas you'll have to contend with sachets of Necafé's "finest" instant, but after all it is a tea country as you know from your Sreemangal visit! Haven't been to Dhaka in many years, wow significant change going on, Dhaka really does need a new airport the current one is disgusting especially the toliets. The only place that never changes is Old Dhaka my favourite place, I hope they preserve it for ever!
Although I haven’t been to Bangladesh (yet), this isn’t the first metro station I’ve been to with signs written in Bengali. Whitechapel station in the East End of London also has Bengali script to reflect the local communities Bengali and wider south Asian population 😊 🇧🇩

Was in Dhaka Hartijhell 6 years ago was there only for half a day.As i was flying back to the uk Dhaka is much more modernised than ever.last time i was there where i stayed on and off From Sylhet to Dhaka was in 2006...so much has changed cant wait to go back and visit more places there
I have lived in Dhaka for my first 28 years of my life. Now I am in the US for almost 2 years and miss my city, my family. I went back to get married last year and got into the metro rail for the first time. It was an awesome experience. Your video just poped up in my youtube feed and while I am lying on bed here in the US, I can see my people, places I used to visit, the roads. Thank you Jason for filming my city.
I used to visit Dhaka frequently during 2008-2013.. Few of the places were really amazing. But traffic situation was catastrophic which in turn make the stay not so memorable then. But, as seen in RUclips, it seems now a days Dhaka is quite nice & clean city with Metro & good roads.
You were one of those first few RUclipsrs that made travel videos on Bangladesh. Today we are seeing so much international video makers. It’s all thanks to you! ❤️ Travel well!

Dhaka has a two part, in some places it is really messed up but it also has a opposite side,which you showed in this video. Somehow every westerner finds North End Coffee lol. Even when I visited nearly 10 years ago, I’d go to North End daily. It was my little salvation to have a little “me time” and prolly still the best coffee in Dhaka. Thanks for shedding light on this beautiful piece of land

I used to visit Dhaka frequently during 2008-2013.. Few of the places were really amazing. But traffic situation was catastrophic which in turn make the stay not so memorable then. But, as seen in RUclips, it seems now a days Dhaka is quite nice & clean city with Metro & good roads.

Dhaka has a two part, in some places it is really messed up but it also has a opposite side,which you showed in this video. I dont know why most of the travel vloggers focused on the bad part of the dhaka. I think other traveller should explore the both side of dhaka as like you.

Somehow every westerner finds North End Coffee lol. Even when I visited nearly 10 years ago, I’d go to North End daily. It was my little salvation to have a little “me time” and prolly still the best coffee in Dhaka. Thanks for shedding light on this beautiful piece of land
