      Thanks. The birds have been crazy busy lately eating everything. I wanted to show that without making the video too long. Thanks for your feedback, much appreciated, Larry

    Wow, I can’t believe I’ve never seen a suet feeder like this until now! It looks great, Larry. I love how the twigs provide natural perches. Seems very useful for someone who might be interested in photography. I love taking pics of the birds on my feeder but I don’t like having the feeders in my picture. Now I can trick people into thinking the bird was in a tree!

      Thanks so much for your kind words. For sure you could even make the side branches go out even further. Thanks for watching

    😆Liking your diy suet feeder. Just recently started suet feeding, got a pair of woodpeckers daily tearing it up.

    I'm new to suet feeding birds. Why, when, and where are my questions for today.

    • @LSatch
      @LSatch  Год назад

      Those are serious questions. Why, short answer, birds will be ok if we don’t feed them but many people enjoy watching them and supplementing their food in the winter months. When, we feed year round but some only feed them in the winter and some don’t feed them at all. Where, we have our feeders at the edge of our woods. It can go anywhere but it’s nice to put it within sight from inside your home so you can enjoy seeing them. If you have large windows, don’t put it too close or the birds might fly into the windows and get hurt.
      There are books written on your questions, and many many websites. Hope my answers help a little.
      Thanks for watching

    Cool feeder! I always like the rustic look.
    I see you have a bandaid on your hand. Do I need to ground you from the saw for 2 weeks? lol Have a good day.

      You noticed. Just a small scrape. I was turning a salt cellar on my lathe and bumped my hand on the sharp point of the tail stock. Have a great day.
