I forgot to show the full shortcut but at 0:24 instead of going the long way walk in the direction I was looking at 0:24 and jumping you can get off the tracks faster or at a speed similar to the speed of the train (even if the train is faster, the shortcut is still useful in situations where, for example, the cart is moving or is at the end and you are forced to go through the map without a cart)
1:43 theres a much easier way (saying this as a former obbyist). you need to face the oppsite direction of where you wnat to jump and then WITHOUT shiftlock attempt to jump to the platform. it might not work the first time but its MUCH easier than what you did.

oh and also i dont exactly remember but you probably need to turn on shiftlock mid-jump

The Pit shortcut is possible without katana, but its better to do it the normal way cause it usually isnt worth the risk
