  • Doing something different than our usual videos in this one. Decided to go for a walk south along the beach to the mouth of Coonarr Creek to cast the vibe around on low tide and see what was around. Friday 29th September with low tide at approx 2:30pm and 0.2m. Only spent about 2 hours and did a fair bit of exploring. Enjoy.

Nice one Shaun. Just did a couple of days offshore with the mrs again in the red tinny. Had a Barry. Fishing was terrible.

That big flathead lie looks like the fish is in it i kept rewinding it and it looks like it is humped up

Might just look like that on camera. Was definitely empty when I was there looking at it.

Do you have any good spots for crabbing for when we finally get moved up there? I have been hanging for a Video and checking regularly just in case Utube stuffed up and I missed your posting. Cheers Garry

I don't really have any "spots" in particular as we don't do too much crabbing but in all our river/creeks systems you'll have a chance of getting some. Best advice I can give though is...
      1. Watch your pots at all times.
      2. Make sure they are well weighted as the big tides and currents in some of the rivers will take the lighter style pots for a ride.
