LBSCR Atlantic Class H2 "Beachy Head" with a 7 car train for the 1st(?) time

- While working in the shop at the Blubell Railway's Sheffield Park Station I had the opportunity to take some video footage of the Railway's brand new locomotive, "Beachy Head", assemble and depart with a 7 carriage train for a test run. Beachy Head is due to enter service on the 23rd of August and is currently carrying out a series of test runns to ensure everything is satisfactory. For those interested in the video footage, it was shot in 8K at 24 frames per second in 10Bit H.265 format on a Nikon Z8. Iy has been rendered to 4K for RUclips.

Halls, black fives, bulleids are wonderful. But, this is something DIFFERENT and equally wonderful.

Yes, we have a number of great preserved railways here in the UK which, I am pleased to say, bring a great deal of pleasure to the visitors, many of whom come from all over the world. My wife and i are both volunteers at the Bluebell Railway and really enjoy meeting many of the visitors. Keep up the great work on your videos, I really enjoy them and the memories they bring back.
Great video. I felt like I was there. The restoration looks beautifully executed, especially the lining work, which caught my eye during the closeup stills near the end. And . . Atlantics are very cool.

I would just like to clarify, this is not a "restoration", it is very much a "new build/replica" making use of just a very few original spare parts and original drawings. Glad you enjoyed the video. I am looking forward to seeing Beachy Head enter service on the 23rd August.

I thought they were 'CARRIAGES' not cars, they are those road things that almost supplanted trains on railways.
