The moment he mentioned losing his dog he had his whole life and the fact the dog's name was Sunshine hit so close to home for me. I just recently lost my beloved cat whos name was Sunshine. I got her when I was 12 years old and I was really struggling with my anxiety disorder and at the time she was only 8 weeks old. I'm 21 now and she was 13-14 years old when she passed away. It feels like a part of my life is missing now without her but I greatly treasure those 9 years I got to spend growing up with her by my side. I hope wherever my baby is now, she's happy and she knows just how much I loved her
Sunshine loved you as much as you loved her. Never forget that, you gave her a life she was happy to live through and I'm sure she'd relieve it a million times.

I related to the dog story so much. I had a best friend named Abby. A very cuddly cat. Beautiful purr and meow. One day in April... My mom came to me, and she sadly told me that Abby passed away unexpectedly. I don't think I cried so hard at one sentence prior to that. I knew her since she was a kitten, and to have her gone... Like that... It shattered me. I relate so much to Sunshine and.. Meg. Even though I wasn't there for Abbys death. Even so, I relate to both Nyx and my nerdy love here. Thanks for the audio. :)

Nyx when you were talking about sunshine I started to cry because you were crying,this made me think me about my dog gunner..he was an absolute sweetheart and he was like my best friend..he was an American pit bully and one day me and my Family were in the backyard and we noticed gunner eatting something and I walked over there and saw it..at the time I didn’t know what it was because I was 12..(it was snail bite) I called my mom over to see what he was eatting and she scared as she saw gunners mouth foaming up and he fell over and started to shake and shake..we went to the vet as fast as we could..they made this throw up the snail bite and that god it did hurt him so much..after that vet visit he was just getting slower..he run along the fence line playing with another dog on the other side..we figured out that he broke his leg and the snail bite was from our neighbor because they hated our dog..so when we found out he had a broken leg he just was limping and limping everywhere..after that we went to the vet and they told us that..at the time he was about 7 years would go under surgery to fix him..at the time we didn’t have any money amd we couldn’t pay for the surgery for him..we just kept him at the vet because of the pain he was In..idk how we died me personally I think it was the poison he ate but it’s a mystery really..I just know he’s resting without pain and he’s waiting I love you gunner❤I miss u bud.😊

Even though you were speaking as Miles and his qualities, this seemed like a moment you needed as yourself to commemorate Meg and release those emotions connected to your pup. The audio itself was well-done with having Miles opening up about why he struggles to build connection with people and why he's afraid to do so. I liked how you used this story line with Miles and making it its own chapter in Miles's story compared to the same storyline used in Adam's story. It's lovely to get more insight on why Miles acts the way he does. You gave him such heart and innocence through your voice. And of course, his story with Sunshine was also super emotional but beautiful. Bravo to you, Nyx! . Losing a puppy is never easy, they're like our family. I have lost many animals since I was a child until today, my parents love animals really much and here at home there's always a cat, a dog or a bird. The most painful losses were when I lost my puppies Luna, Kaylee, Katiusha and my cat Opal. I miss them so much to this day, but I know they are at peace now, and there's still many animals out there that I can give all my love to. What really matters are the memories we had together, I know that they were all happy by my side and by my parents' side.

Aaawwwwww I'm really crying for that part talking about sunshine. I have connection to this story because I lost 3 adorable puppies that we cared for. It's so hurts that I lost them that I'm not with them. I'm in overseas when we lost them all. But now we got a new 2 puppies & waiting for me to come back home. I met this two puppies when I came back to the Philippines for my 2 months vacation. So yeah.... I knew Meg, will met my 3 adorable puppies & I knew they play out there 😊😊😊😊. I miss them too until now..... Uhm we lost our 2 puppies 3years ago & it's still Hurst until now.
When Nyx was talking about what happened to sunshine it made me cry a little because that's exactly what happened to my dog; Girl-Girl. She was a Pit-bull fighter dog that was rescued by my mom when I was 8 she was trained and was very protective of her family, I was so attached to her that my mom called her my sister. After a couple of years she started to become bolted which we found out was because she was gaining a lot of water weight which was making it hard for her heart and to breathe. So we went to the doctor but they didn't think that she would live very long because of how old she was,but we never lost hope for her. She was a very strong dog with all the medicine that she had to take to keep the water off,plus a surgery. I'm now 17 and It's been a week since we lost our Girl-Girl; she died a very peaceful death and I've been missing her every day our house has never felt so empty without her so I understand your pain Nyx. RIP to Girl-Girl and Meg the best girls in the world. (Sorry 4 the long story,I tried to summaries the best I could.)

It’s definitely not easy losing a pet, whether you’ve had them your whole life or just for a brief moment. I lost my kitten Millie a few months back and it still hurts. I regret not being able to spend more time with her, but at least she’s at peace like I’m sure Meg is knowing how much she was loved and cherished by you, Nyx. And I love those messages that Kellen and Ryan gave you. It goes to show there are still some kind-hearted people out there. 🩵

I lost both my cat and dog on the same night, I used to call them twins because they were both black, so a male black cat and a black wolf dog, they were super close and they both died because my basement was burning and my cat was still inside so my dog went to search for him and never got back...

I tried to make sure that she doing okay and make sure that she is loved and everything.
So, as her best friend since the 4th grade, I’m trying my best to be the best friend possible.

Aaawwwwww I'm really crying for that part talking about sunshine. I have connection to this story because I lost 3 adorable puppies that we cared for. It's so hurts that I lost them that I'm not with them. I'm in overseas when we lost them all. But now we got a new 2 puppies & waiting for me to come back home. I met this two puppies when I came back to the Philippines for my 2 months vacation. So yeah.... I knew Meg, will met my 3 adorable puppies & I knew they play out there 😊😊😊😊. I miss them too until now..... Uhm we lost our 2 puppies 3years ago & it's still Hurst until now.

When Nyx was talking about what happened to sunshine it made me cry a little because that's exactly what happened to my dog; Girl-Girl. She was a Pit-bull fighter dog that was rescued by my mom when I was 8 she was trained and was very protective of her family, I was so attached to her that my mom called her my sister. After a couple of years she started to become bolted which we found out was because she was gaining a lot of water weight which was making it hard for her heart and to breathe. So we went to the doctor but they didn't think that she would live very long because of how old she was,but we never lost hope for her. She was a very strong dog with all the medicine that she had to take to keep the water off,plus a surgery. I'm now 17 and It's been a week since we lost our Girl-Girl; she died a very peaceful death and I've been missing her every day our house has never felt so empty without her so I understand your pain Nyx. RIP to Girl-Girl and Meg the best girls in the world. (Sorry 4 the long story,I tried to summaries the best I could.)
