This movie just had more CGI/Animation than the previous movies which is the most expensive and time consuming part. For perspective, this final fight scene (starting from when they clashed in hollow earth transitioning onto the surface) had more screen time than Godzilla did in the entire movie for Minus one. Also the amount of animation done for hollow earth and kong, godzilla vs Tiamat, Godzilla vs scylla, godzilla and kong fight again, Mothra, skar king and shimo. People don't realize that just a few minutes of these animated scenes cost millions, on top of that these scenes typically go through more than one just one animation studio. Human screen time was also shorter so extra money wasn't spent in that area.
I love it that people still loves Godzilla and King Kong. As a huge Godzilla fan along with my mom and sister while my dad is a huge King Kong fan. Me, my sister, and my mom loves King Kong. Sad Adam won’t be the director of the next Godzilla and King Kong movie. I heard the new director is gonna make an stand alone Godzilla movie while the monarch series is gonna show King Kong I heard
Godzilla x Kong was superb this film place Godzilla and Kong back on the map this movie show off Godzilla and Kong true fighting skills you wont see these titans dying from a plane to the mouth

It wasn't really like that. Shimo probably never wanted conflict in the first place. When freed, she didn't know what to do. That's why Godzilla was the one who had to tell Shimo to freeze Skar.
Shimo was control by skar king, she not betray skar king. She was free by under skar king control, Also Godzilla knew she was free and command shimo to freeze skar king
with how well the movie did i wish they took the risk and put some more money & time into the final fight and with all of godzillas screen time they prolly didnt make the fights too long bcuz they werent expecting it to do as well as it did so they kept it show
