Just some thoughts about the GoPro Fusion and skiing: The Fusion looks cool, but cool isn‘t equal to interesting. When you‘re skiing through some powder and trees I want to see a POV so that I really get the feeling of what you‘re doing. I don‘t want to see you from the front, I‘m not interested in the surrounding behind you. The Fusion is cool for vlogging when you‘re talking and your face is the main point of the scene. (My opinion) Edit: 12:38 was the perfect use for the Fusion, since it isn‘t interesting to see exactly what you see, but the surroundigs are.

The section where it was mounted from behind, and you could see your backpack and helmet, and most importantly, your field of view was awesome! It puts the whole run into perspective, rather than seeing small snippet action shots and mouth fulls of pow pow haha. But hey, I'm stoked either way!
I think something a lot of people are forgetting when talking about the Fusion fotage is that part of the reason Jon really likes it is that he doesnt have to worry as much about where the camera is point because they can change the view in editing so it allows him to enjoy the skiing more then with a usual gopro where you have to be careful to hold it correctly unless you have it mounted to yourself.

Also, love the use of the tradition camera shots rather than the fusion! The mix of both fusion and normal camera shots taken by Oscar or Benji is perfect! 👌👌

LOFA As explained in the video, a PoC mount on the helmet gets jamned up with snow in 2 secs when its that deep. So POV is near impossible when the snow is good.
It would be nice to see some more footage of your buddys as well, in the powder. Awesome to finally see some skiing though, and Benny on the snowboard 🤙
I have a Rylo360 that I just got and used in Whistler Canada and I wish I thought of that backpack mount idea... Also the Rylo doesn't stich nearly as well as the Fusion but it's easier to edit... And a big BUT, I cant ski nearly as good as Jon!!! Well done guys.... Team Overkill, killin' it....
Hey Jon and Benni, I would love to see some tutorials from you guys on your editing and your transitions, or a "behind the scenes" vlog where we see all the work you put in to your vlogs. Else I just have to say thanks a lot for inspiring me by making these epic videos, just started my first company, a media agency, because I felt inspired by your guys's vlogs. Keep up the work guys! One of the best vlogs so far, multiple thumbs-up! Would have been even better with less Fusion footage. I get that forward-looking footage might be hard with powder that deep, but why not mix it up and use a regular Hero instead of the Fusion for some of the selfie-stick footage? The mangled fish-eye perspective from the Fusion makes for less compelling footage, imho.
Gotta love your awesome ski vlogs Jon and Benni. Maybe just more food or coffee breaks between your skiing would be great too to see from where do you get energy from ;)
Great vid. Jon you Benny and Warner are so funny together. I followed him I hope he keeps vlogging. I really love seeing vid behind the scenes at Olympics. I followed Fun for Louis and Mr Ben Brown in Brazil. So cool. Loved the Japan powder down hills again. I tell so many people that sit in my Barber chair about your snow skiing in Japan. I loved Janni's bobsled ride, looked like fun. All in an Olympic theme. :)
This is so awesome! I have really been looking forward to your ski vlogs again and these last couple of videos have been amazing. I have been skiing at least a week per year since I was 5 years old but last year I didn't get to go and it seems like there won't be any skiing for me this year either. All of my friends are either busy studying or don't have time or money for other reasons. It really sucks because skiing is my absolut favorite thing in the world. At least I can enjoy watching your vlogs and get a little ski feeling that way.

If there's one movie we could watch, that epitomises your ski career, what would it be? What's the one you're most proud of?
