Sweet. I'll be watching your progress. Drove one of these, (66 trips, Muncie, 3.55 12 bolt) for 10 yrs, from 78 to 88. Street and strip. Such a blast. Yours, (like mine) no A/C, power steering or brakes. Love it. Good luck.

Tragic he turned into an old man, never driving it. Such a waste. In 78 we drove the piss out of these after laying down 2000 bucks for a high end car like that. Could buy Chelles and Roadrunners all day for 800 to 1000
@@jraposo911 obviously you don’t know what’s a solid car rust in trunk is 90% of these cars after 5-10 years in the beginning. This car is solid and yes a portion of the trunk has rust. But nothing near rusted out.
My favorite year gto. Hands down
Me too! Stacked headlights forever!
1965 and 1966 are the best looking GTOs especially when equipped with rally 1 rims and red line tires!!!❤

I had a '64 GTO in high school, and the guy across the street had a '65. I'd take either in a heartbeat.

@jraposo911 all A body GM cars had rust in the trunk no matter what part of the country they came from water would leak through the back window
