I really try to resist these insty-crush, kinda useless purchases. I mean, what's so WRONG with my Aurora Optimas and special editions, what's wrong with my Pelikan 600, various incestuously-nibbed 200s + 400s... I still haven't even learned to hate Sheaffer NoNonsensei* yet! But then I realized, those flashy kids could give me away on my next dense-jungle secret forces commando raid! There you is - with your camouflage duds, camouflage face, camouflage pack and your camouflage flamethrower shooting secret camouflage flames - even camouflage undies & camouflage TOOTHPASTE, though I'm not sure how you manage tha... I mean what? Don't rinse?!?
Regardless, there we are in the jungle, creep-creep-creep-crawl-creep....
HALT!!! IN THE NAME UFF ZE FUHRER, I COMMAND THEE!!!
~ BUSTED!!! ~ The silvery moon, reflecting off your high end POLISHED nib. If it's a Pelikan, you _might_ sneak it out - _"itz zee fyooorerz favorite penz, dumkoph!_ or some such bullshit - otherwise, bedtime for Bonzo! (yes I learnt to speak Kraut from "Hogan's Heroes," so pizz uff grammzi). But boy-o-boy would you regret not having done things correctly, buying this pen is a _necessity for commandos._ There oughtta be a law - for both half-assed and full-assed commandos. A bitter lesson to be learned in the tortuous prison camps (AKA "GOO-LOGS")- as in:
    ~ don't journal during commando raids. ~

*(Yes she was my first, and I'll always have a soft spot in my head for them, and their toity big sisters, upscale "Connaisseurs", a "Bamboo" etc. There were some poorly-cut nibs, I used to modify and sell nibs to hardcore calligraphy Nazis and I had to chuck about one out of every four or five nibs. But somehow, Sheaffer's odd double-slit cheap plastic feed worked with almost ANY KIND of bizarre nibbishness I could come up with. Now worth hundreds, prolly. $4.99 in full howling glory. I demolished DOZENS of these things in every way possible, god I HATE "collectables.")
