A two-party system has been historically proven to fail, therefore, I believe in equal representation of all candidates no matter who I agree with.
Have you ever even lived in a country with a multi-party system? How do you enjoy elections every 3 months when the parties can't agree on who should lead the coalition. I am a senior at the University of Georgia who has lived in rural Georgia all of my life. Mr. Kemp is accomplished and respectable despite his many shortcomings and failures throughout his career. Many Georgians identify with him for a reason. He represents a hardworking, southern identity that resonates with so many people across this state. However, Ms. Abrams came to my hometown and spoke to us about healthcare, education, gun policy, and prison reform. She is clearly qualified, passionate, and able to justify her shortcomings. I have heard legitimate and nuanced arguments for both candidates, but I am proud to vote for Ms. Abrams. She will simply be a better governor than Mr. Kemp.

I am a senior at the University of Georgia who has lived in rural Georgia all of my life. Mr. Kemp is accomplished and respectable despite his many shortcomings and failures throughout his career. Many Georgians identify with him for a reason. He represents a hardworking, southern identity that resonates with so many people across this state. However, Ms. Abrams came to my hometown and spoke to us about healthcare, education, gun policy, and prison reform. She is clearly qualified, passionate, and able to justify her shortcomings. I have heard legitimate and nuanced arguments for both candidates, but I am proud to vote for Ms. Abrams. She will simply be a better governor than Mr. Kemp.
