- Today, I am showing the basics of using a Durkee Cap Hoop on my 6 needle Brother PR600 (Hoop also available for single needle machines). I go over the basics on how to hoop and stitch a monogram on an unstructured baseball cap using the Durkee Hat Hoop.

I just received my hat hoop and am so glad that you did this video. Have you tried to do a Structured hat with this frame? if so, what were your challenges?
I have tried structured caps with it and it is possible, but not easy or ideal. It is very difficult to get them flat enough to use this style hat hoop.

what fonts are you using using and size are they
I have this hoop but never tried it yet it came with my machine I got it used. Also do you have a video on threading that machine. My number 5 the bobbin thread keeps showing on top and #2 needle thread keeps breaking
What size font do you normally use on hats?
2.5-3" depending on the font.
