- “They’ve hit Hamas very hard, they’ve gone after Hezbollah in southern Lebanon. They are goading the Iranians.”
The Iranian missile attack on Israel was an “inevitable” response to Israel’s attack on Lebanon, but Iran does not want further escalation, says Peter Westmacott, former British Ambassador to United States.

How can they be afraid of escalation after shooting a barrage of missiles? I am confused!
Iran speaks with forked tongue.
Iran is scared of Iranian school girls.
Because they’re delusional and just had a reality check
you are not confuse, is the one who put it up is confused
The propaganda is that dumb it doesn’t make sense in the real world
So wars are only allowed when both sides are militarily equal? What an idiotic question.
The Ayatollah is a coward! He will not stay hidden for long!
if they where afraid they wouldnt have fired them
Fear has killed more people than any other emotion, anger makes a person do bad things but fear makes a human do drastic and unpredictable things.
@@Felled-angelyes but the fear can only be overcame with love. The people of those desert lands need love not anger. No side is right and no side is wrong
@@LiClan Yes but the Koran is clear on the people of the desert lands and you know, Iranians don't accept the Sunni teachings on anger.
Not necessarily true. They’re delusional - reality didn’t hit until afterwards. Utterly pointless missile attack. Now they’re scared …
@@Felled-angelas we can clearly see in Israel’s behaviour (over the last year in particular)
If Iran is so afraid of escalation, they should've stopped supporting terrorism years ago.
Im not buying this right now.
If Iran wasn't afraid it wouldn't be using proxie terrorists to fight its wars.
It’s just a beef that got out of hand. Both sides are behaving like children they just need to take a break and cool off
@@LiClanNo, it is a full on end times war for them - shia twelvers have a list of prophecy they follow as do the Jewish third temple followers.
For the sake of the world, the Jewish one is safer.
Idf are the biggest terrorists in the Middle East ..facts
@@LiClan "Both sides"
I dont agree it's both sides on an equal level.
“Not looking for escalate” and “not react” while your proxy shot 1,000 rockets a month on North Israel.
Why are you ignoring it ?
So Iran is afraid but they fire off 200 missiles, what is Times smoking.
100%, this lot are off their trollies
lol Iran are scared of their own school girls.
How effective were those 200 missiles? Israel and USA just proved their Air defense systems have no equal, Russians vaunted AD are useless vs Ukraines drones.
You are supposed to stay 1000 ft away from school yards.@@superhumantrueman
@@Mrpibb666 A supporter of Iran oppressing school girls are you?
Extraordinary not to expect them to do nothing
Iran should have thought about it not having equal defence systems to protect its citizens before hezbollah attacked another nation. This IDF spokesman did a great job keeping his cool responding to ridiculous questions.
You are full of it
What an embarrassing interview for a normally very balanced and measured Times; wonderful prose and professionalism from the IDF to sit through this nonsense
oh so that's why they fired 200 missiles huh ?
Patronizing towards the IDF apokesman. Does she think she is talking to a child?
Yes
Free Iran
From your supreme monster
What a silly question about whether this is an "equal conflict" - you'd think she were managing a dispute between toddlers in the playground. Symptomatic of the absurd expectations of many of us in the west in the post cold war era that any and all conflicts can be managed and organised in such a way as to ensure a perfectly balanced outcome to leave all sides satisfied enough to stop. This may work, for a limited time in any case, in a world with one clear hegemon setting (even if not always following) the rules of engagement. That world is now unraveling and therefore so too the rules of it.
Wars, revenge and hatred bring destruction. Only fairness, justice, rule of law, equality, equal opportunities, merit and human dignity can bring peace and harmony amongst all the communities around the world. Thanks
It's a special person who sees this a humiliation.
Well, yup, bad move. Have a feeling not gonna be good for Iran. So truly wish for peace in this area of the world.
Joke of a news site. Sweet lord lol
Iran does have a missile defence system.
It really doesn't. Even Russia doesn't have a proven, deployed missile defence system like the THAAD or Arrow 3
Why do I have to turn her volume down and his up?
Also, as a non-Jew I wonder why the news is so full of bigotry and hatred toward the Jews and love of the Muslims. Thoughts?
Not just the news, what about the actions of the UN. What a joke!
This report is untrue at best .
Iran isn't nearly as afraid as it should be. That may very well change over the next few days.
🤣😭📉
They aren't afraid.
😂😂😂how iran is afraid after they just attack Israel,,this title doesn't make any sense 🤔
By saying iran is afraid we saw what happened last night. Never underestimate iran
😂😂😂
Why should iran call the shots
Not sure if Iran is affraid.
Especially after the last 2 times Israel went into Lebanon it had to leave without achieving its objectives.
The wheel keeps on turning.
Israel destined to be bogged down in another bloody war.
Let's hope that the US and the UK do not get involved.
After 2006 Hezbollah didn't do any strikes against Israel for 18 years, and Nasrallah later said if he knew how it would turn out he wouldn't have started the 2006 war
It’s so sad that they are used to it. When I saw the bookcase behind the guest, I thought he was in my house for a moment.
that’s what happens when you are an occupier I guess
@@indigoskywalkerresearch Shia twelvers prophecy - this is deeper than just who is an occupier ...
@@pallasathena1369 but we have to keep this non religious, I don’t mean to be disrespectful 😉 Israel has used religion to justify its actions, we have to side step that justification because we are not in a world where law is religious or religion can be used for acts which are unlawful. It is in fact based on statutory legislations and factual information. I know in the middle east this is different having lived there for 10 years, but western law and the law as practiced by the ICJ is not based on religion. I will however have a look 🍉
@@indigoskywalker enjoy the research, it is mind boggling - I don't apply western judgement, it is what it is.
I doubt you know the actual results of this recent attack
Maybe it's time to change the weatherby adverts
Did Iran escalate or retaliate?
Does Iran object to the Gaza / WB situation?
Is the west separating the two conflicts, deflecting our attention from what is the root problem?
Does the west talk "stop escalation and promote the 2 state stuff". Are they arming and funding the opposite?
Has Israel gone rogue or is the talk an attempt to avoid complicity?
What a load of codswallop! Talking through his left nostril😅😅😅
I like that IDF spokesperson, he sounds like a Brit…
He probably studied in the U.K.
He was born and raised in London. Any Jewish person can move to Israel.
Iranians have been very cautious in the calibrated response to extreme provocation
So cautious they achieved nothing.
Incompetence isn't the same as cautious!
However, I would agree that the regime in Tehran has tried to calibrate its response. However extreme provocation assumes Iran has a right to interfere in the Levant.
The did not Repel any of the Attract you are making assumptions . False narrative as usual …
Maybe the interviewer is merely an amoral careerist rather than bloodyhirsty. Whatever one can’t help pick up his sense of excitement
Come on. Don't be a bullshitter. The first attack doesn't count.
It is strength not weakness to do all in the power to prevent escalation
Iran is a huge country next to Israel. If we've learned anything from Russia's invasion of Ukraine it's that numbers count in spite of presumed technical sophistication.
But they are not next to Israel? Syria, Jordan, Lebanon ,Saudi Arabia and Egypt are! 💁🏼♂️
Iran is 1400 miles away from Israel..
@@bl123-w8l The distance is irrelevant and if anything, it works more to Iran's advantage given that Israel won't have the numbers to support complex logistics chains across those 1,400 miles.
Please google gas fields in front of Libanon and Israel. These gas fields are known for a long time however the two countries could never agree over who owns what, last year they found a solution and signed an agreement (25 October) and a letter of understanding with two oil companies) ENI and Total energies with plans to pump directly to the European network.
You think oil companies are going to drill and insurance companies are going to insure this with Russian and Iranian rebels sitting on their doorstep? You think Russia wants a gas pipeline to go to Europe? Fun and games but not funny at all!
Recon potus is yelling take the fing win
Who are these clowns that you guys bring as expert 😂

Do you expect an adult reply now?
Find times radio very one-sided i must say, better channels out there.

😂😂😂 Jokers
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 where are you getting your info. ‘Iran is a paper tiger ‘ 🤣🤣🤣🤣 you must be getting briefed by washington.
Iran isn't even a paper tiger. Look at Praying Mantis to see the disparity.
be good if this man explained why there are rocket attacks
It is because of Islam, the false religion of the Devil.
It's because they've been poisoned for years on a diet of hatred. This is just the inevitable consequence working itself out. The Nazi's manufactured grievances against their neighbours too as a pretext to launch assaults against them.
The Iranians have taken the greatest care to make sure they are very few civilian casualties . You know perfectly well they warned the Americans are well in advance of the attack and I’ve been careful not to overwhelm The and defence system
TIMES are idiots
Breaching western air defence apparatus means apartheid can't always get away with mass killings. It's also prelude to loss of US hegemony and rise of multpoler world
🤣💩
Your brain has been genocided with apartheid nonsense
Yes yes that's what they've been saying since 1948, that Israel's defeat is just around the corner.
Iran never afraid 🇮🇷🇮🇷🇮🇷🇮🇷🇮🇷🇮🇷🇮🇷🇮🇷🇮🇷🇮🇷🇮🇷🇮🇷🇮🇷🇮🇷🇮🇷🇮🇷🇮🇷🇮🇷
No! They are just COWARDS! That’s why they have proxies.
Cope
For west , successful attack means hitting residential buildings, schools, hospitals, alot of civilian casualities on the road, unlike hit military bases and spy agency head-Quarters,
this iranian failed action must need to condemn
This is the dumbest channel on any platform
What an annoying interview without even a hint of a challenging question!!
For example, allowing him to say the Iranian attack was indiscriminate when it was airbase 's which were attacked and allowing him to slide past the fact that they killed 550 civilians in one day in lebanon last week while assassinating the head of hezbollah!! Ffs!! Come on...at least pretend that you are an impartial journalist!!!
Iran is replying to the last Israeli attack. Iran was so weak they didnt attack civilians unlike Israel
If Iran was concerned about its citizens, it wouldn't be funding and supporting the rocket attacks against Israel.
Didnt attack civillians? They sent their missiles to every single part of Israel, including above my home in Jerusalem. I wonder if they see the deayh of the Pslestinian in Jericho as success.
Every cloud has a silver lining. We can only hope that as Times Radio transmits more garbage like this concerning this conflict that they will produce less nonsense about the conflict in eastern Europe.
Whatever Rusbot 😂
