Magnificent work! Your swirly motion paths are always full of so much personality and I love how the flames and bubbles dissappear gently instead of right away, makes them feel more alive & mysterious than usual effects.

Thanks! That's a good point. This turn based battle system takes place in a magical void, so gravity is different and more slow!

Seriously gorgeous work. May I ask what program you used? I have TVPaint and I'm curious if I could attempt something similar in it, or if you recommend another program. Thanks! Very inspirational.

Thanks! Yes, I use TVPaint as well. You should be able to use any 2D animation software. I'm making use of layers to animate the individual colors and cel shading.
