I got chills when brother Tyrese G; mentioned the title of his book, because God himself said those same words in a dream to me sometime ago; now this is my confirmation.
We gotta stop focussing on how much YOU love God n focus on how much GOD loves u. That's when true revival comes, that's when FREEDOM comes Tyrese is Free. Its not a religion for him its a relationship.
I have a new found respect for Tyrese. He was already one of my favorite entertainers. So to know he also shares some of my same spiritual ideas on top of his birthday being the day after mine, gives me a sense of peace. I know I love God but I'm not perfect. So this gave me the assurance that it's not always about who you are or what you do, it's what's inside you that God cares about.

Tyrese is sharing his experience with honesty and candor. Sometimes people find it difficult when people are being themselves. The easy thing for him to do would be to front and use a phraseology that would be pleasing to people's ears. This is my first time viewing this and I agree with Tyrese. However Christians do not believe in horoscopes. I'm not judging but only stating the truth. But for the most part Tyrese is an amazing man with an amazing anointing on his life. God is not done with him.

It's a process me I am a Christian and my religion is Christianity. Which I believe in Christ and I am not perfect. I struggle because I still listen to secular music even though I watch the lyrics. This is a new response to an old video; to answer your question.....I knew him since he was a child; He and his family lived on the next block directly behind me across the alley that separated our houses. He is still my boy, but I am a bit disappointed in the things that I see today. God is not about our financial successes, but spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ. The scriptures says that it is harder for a rich man to enter heaven than a camel going through the eye of a needle. Steve Harvey says that he had been friends with Tyrese and knows him well, but if that is the case, then his walk with God is also based on finances versus a loving relationship. Tyrese has had a lot of help from me and others and chooses not to acknowledge that information.
Now, I like Tyrese too, but as Christians we got to watch what a person said, I heard lots of claps for the comment he was a Capricorn(astrology), we are not, as CHRISTIANS to follow that stuff, (Deuteronomy 18; 9-14), finally, THE WORD OF GOD IS TRUE, AND FINAL, NO COMPROIMISING..HAVE FAITH AND GROW IN 'JESUS CHRIST'...LUV YA!!!
For those of us whose walk is not where you wish or hope it should be, please don't give up for God the creator is still working in you and me. Stay strong and let God know that He forever loves you, and that you are righteousness and holy in Him. Amen!
Love this... as a youth leader we come to their level. Learn to not just drill church church. Sometimes you have to show them the "Nae Nae " to be able to pour God's word into them.
We (christians)all have different stories to tell on how we have become a Christian. Some had no struggles while some had (depending on the grace of God and purpose in one's life). To become a follower of Christ is a choice we make but we can never do it without God's help because we have no enough power to fight against the devil (Ephesians 6:10-18) but God. To become a true Christian we have to go through a process in which we are supposed to be obedient to God in every step no matter how hard it is, and when we are weak His grace is sufficient (2Corinthians 12:9). God works in us first before the world see the change in us. But God's grace is never to be taken for granted, never. When God wills, in His own time and manner- will transform you completely and make you a new person in Christ Jesus.

People that don't know you, should always know that God is your source, because you will express it in you living. It is important for us believers to live as belivers. some Christians are critical and some are self protective against awkward teachings. The word does says not to love the things of this world, for if you love the things of this world then the love of the Father is not in you. not one time does the Bible teach being sexy to get people to church or saved. you can tell a tree by its fruit, so when you talk God and then use vulgar language because someone paid you to then it doesn't show much commitment to God. do not be fooled, God will not be mocked. for whatsoever a man soweth that shall he also reap. if you sow unto the flesh you reap corruption and if you sow unto the Spirit you will reap everlasting life.

I AGREE. Many Christians assume that new followers of Christ should be like them...not true. He has to walk the steps that God designed for Him...that's requires a process.
While there's no bible scripture that says Come as you are...Jesus did say, Let him who is without sin cast the first stone..suggesting that all have sinned and fallen short of God's glory. However, God being the loving, merciful and forgiving God that he is does not condemn us, instead he says, Come! I love you just the same. While Christ condemns the sin, he loves the sinner so he offers us the gift of grace when he died on the cross for our sins. The first step is to accept that gift and Christ will do the rest. So come, everyone as you are but you won't stay as you are because God transforms the heart of a true believer. God bless you Tyrese.

Although I do disagree with some things he has said, He is a working process. I do pray that he studies the Bible more and not rely on knowledge, we have to only rely on the word of God. I pray that he would continue to grow in Christ and mature in Him. We as saints have no room to judge by appearance but only righteously.

some Christians are critical and some are self protective against awkward teachings. The word does says not to love the things of this world, for if you love the things of this world then the love of the Father is not in you. not one time does the Bible teach being sexy to get people to church or saved. you can tell a tree by its fruit, so when you talk God and then use vulgar language because someone paid you to then it doesn't show much commitment to God. do not be fooled, God will not be mocked. for whatsoever a man soweth that shall he also reap. if you sow unto the flesh you reap corruption and if you sow unto the Spirit you will reap everlasting life.
Come as you are is more a church saying. I haven't seen in it scripture. I do believe God wants everyone to come to his house as they are but He wants us to leave the sinful lifestyle alone and leave in the past. It won't happen overnight but if one truly opens his heart, mind, and soul to Jesus then he will walk away from his sinful ways.

I AGREE. Many Christians assume that new followers of Christ should be like them...not true. He has to walk the steps that God designed for Him...that's requires a process.

While there's no bible scripture that says Come as you are...Jesus did say, Let him who is without sin cast the first stone..suggesting that all have sinned and fallen short of God's glory. However, God being the loving, merciful and forgiving God that he is does not condemn us, instead he says, Come! I love you just the same. While Christ condemns the sin, he loves the sinner so he offers us the gift of grace when he died on the cross for our sins. The first step is to accept that gift and Christ will do the rest. So come, everyone as you are but you won't stay as you are because God transforms the heart of a true believer. God bless you Tyrese.

Its only when we develop a relationship with God that we understand that our lives have to represent Him even the words we speak, Yes we have to get out o our own way and that requires surrending it all and saying Thy will be done...
Although I do disagree with some things he has said, He is a working process. I do pray that he studies the Bible more and not rely on knowledge, we have to only rely on the word of God. I pray that he would continue to grow in Christ and mature in Him. We as saints have no room to judge by appearance but only righteously.
I don't know this guy, but I'm certainly praying for him. All I know is that I'm not sure he's talking about the same God we think he is....unfortunately

I am proud of my brother! People who have something negative to say about his method of success are usually the same perception-oriented excuse-making "Religion-without-Relationship (with Christ) conformist. As a Minister of Music, I don't see much of a difference between the world and this false standard of Christianity that we try to impose onto "Secular" Celebrities who are saved. Especially when ALL of our churches have become Landmarks of PowerLESS Routine & Social Significance!
