- Today's recipe is flower-shaped savory bread with vegetable filling. Soft fluffy delicious, the stir-fried vegetable filling is adjustable.

Vegetable bread recipe
Dough:
375g (3cups) of all-purpose flour
6g (2 tsp) dry instant yeast
25g (2 tbsp) of sugar
2.5g (1/2 tsp) of salt
1 large egg, beaten.
125ml (1/2 cup) of warm milk
42g (3 tbsp) of softened butter
Vegetable filling:
Stir-fried vegetables of your choice, dry without the liquid (cooked and seasoned).
Scrambled egg from 2 eggs.
Toppings:
Shredded cheese + parsley
Egg to apply before baking

Hi Naza, thanks so much. For the vegetables, I use fresh vegetables then stir-fried with simple seasonings until just cooked. Avoid to overcooked the stir-fried vegetables since they will be bake later.

Yes for this recipe, all-purpose flour and/or bread flour will work the same.

As my son is a vegetarian and is also lactose tolerant. But he will love this, if I could make it for him with wholemeal flour. I hope to hear from you. Love from Melbourne Australia. Hello Toula5two in Australia, wow...thank you very much :) Yes, we can use wholemeal or mix with other flour and maybe we need to adjust the liquid in the mixture if necessary. The color will be different, of course. I wish you luck with the experiment :) Love from Germany.

Hey dear, can u tell me is it okay if I omit egg from the dough, and instead of the scrambled egg can I add mozarella cheese in the stuffing?
hello Bushra, yes omit the egg is possible, though the texture would be slightly dry. You might add cheese or other stuffing.
