Such a beautiful exposition! I can so identify, and makes me sad until this day, what he said about his parent's divorce...and I am on the threshold of 68 years. When I discovered that my Heavenly Father could fill that void...the one left by my earthly father, what a day!

I have his Ezekiel commentary. Good so far, recommend it though not even halfway. Went on a whim with this guy’s books because the reviews were so good on Amazon but wow his preaching seems great too and often great authors don’t necessarily make good preachers but I may seriously watch more of this guy. This was great to me.

Mathew 22:1-14; "Many are called. Few are chosen." Are you we wearing your wedding garment?!? Are you wearing your repentence?!?
Predestinated by Jesus to the Father. All who repent and put their trust in the risen saviour have a predestination to be with the Lord. It's Jesus that this is referring to. That is what predestinated is referring to, it doesn't say predetermined. By God's sovereign will He gave us all the choice to make, to chose Jesus or not. Our hearts chose the path and God directs our steps. God wants all to come to repentance and to be saved.

@841 so why doescmy unbeluief show through fear of gods soveregin decrees of this worlds history, especially in 2020-2021 with this c19? does god not rule over angels, deomons, satan, saints, sinners, weather and every arom in his creation? in my head yes in my heart at times no. holy spirit help me to read youyr word and trust in as nothing else can give peace but that.
Just wondering, dead but yet a person eats, walks , breaths ? Maybe the way they are using the word dead is not correct ? So you have to be ' BORN AGAIN" before you can except the gospel, the good news? Then you are redeemed, reconciled to GOD? The bad news is nonbelievers will stand before Gods thrown and God will say , you could not believe, I did not create you to worship me , to love me or for myself to love you. Therefore you will be cast into the lake of fire , to be tormented forever. Would that be love? would that be justice?

Samuel Branch. Your ignorance of scripture is very evident in your post. However, your bravery should be applauded.....about as much as your theology. Takes some brass to pass heretical judgement, when it’s clear someone has told you what to believe. You speak as a child. It has nothing to do with intelligence, only God can make one wise. You cannot understand these teachings, because obviously you haven’t read what the Word of God says about it, or your pastor doesn’t believe it. So you reject it. That is called Rationalism. A heretical view as old as the hills. Dig into scripture instead of throwing stones.
So dogs and cats are going to heaven but the majority of humanity will be in Hell? 🤔
I wish we had preachers that preached truth 😔. I think God has not given it to them.

Sir, l love your straight forward preaching BUT WHY do you need to bring up calvin?? Forget calvin --- just stay with the truth of election and total depravity.
Simple... He is a follower of John Calvin preaching a jesus and gospel other than the Jesus and gospel of the scriptures. He's an elite intellectual no different than the stoics of the Old Testament.

God certainly did have a plan... First to choose the Jews as His people and then offering salvation to the Gentiles. There is no mystery... The mystery was revealed in Jesus Christ, first to the Jews and then to the Gentiles. Not one individual was chosen to salvation before the foundation of the world. Blasphemy.
Any pastor or theologian who quotes other theologians or biblical "scholars" more than Jesus is a follower of man who has been indoctrinated by systemic theology that they read into the scriptures to fit their man-made god and religious system. It's so easy to see and nauseating to listen to for one who follows Jesus and not man.
