I think the reason Fables didn't purge shield is because of shield cancels. Shielding after either wuerger or harris stance will make you able to move earlier than if you just wait

Both players here very good. Fables pullin out the hippity hop, dude's up there with TheFast in terms of QB movement, really unique movement style, requires T1 en mgmt because you get punished SO hard for incomplete approaches.
Ramen's movement very disciplined as always, very solid build choices as always too. Hands down one of the most consistent players in this community, showing us all what he'd be capable of if his weight class had just a little more breathing room in the current meta.

How the hell do you do that crazy bunny hop with the QB?

It's just normal QB but with a small jet duration
Time the QBs so that they happen right as the AC touches the ground
You have to use the right chest piece and boosters
I run a midweight instead of a lightweight, but I'm totally gonna try to learn and master that bunny hop. Superb movement, and will really help throw off the enemy FCS lock. I remember bunny hopping from time to time on ACFA PvP to dodge shots and recover EN if I'm trying to stay at a certain range without having to QB to dodge.
It really reminds me of the AC4 chainboost with how fast it goes, not as comically fast as AC4 but it actually looked as fun

Fables schmoovement is always super clean.
God, that movement, it really feels like it's its own playstyle, especially with it being in a water map.
Just a shame that fables came up against Ramen who was a hard counter for him.
(That last one, if Fables didn't get staggered he might have hopped straight to Ramen for a sucker punch😂)
I'd kill to see what internals mister "Bunny Hop" was running. Been dying for a boost build like that
i'm assuming a large coral generator, since their trails are red and they look to have enough EN for a lot of QBs. Alula boosters, since they have fast consecutive boosts while also having a good amount of range per boost, probably an Ocellus, since their AC gets up close ASAP. The Schneider legs allow for consecutive boosts whilst also keeping a massive jump distance, which takes the QBs even further
^this, and combined with nacht core's maximum booster efficiency and coral's instant fill up, you got that massive quick boost count and become the rabbit

To be clear I'm just guessing
1.) It happened like, 4 days ago. Lightweight tournament was earlier so it would make sense to go in date order.
2.) It was kinda messy until grand finals. Which to be fair, was a really exciting grands. Hopefully that gets an upload

something feels kind of sus about fables with that QB its strange how his ac angels its self downwards making the boosters face down shooting the flames so high up been testing this my self with the same setup even lighter and heavier builds and nothing i cant replicate it anyone got any ideas ?

@@ChocoLTRose well like i said it looks nothing like that in game it looks strange im not a Modder/cheater so i don't know if increasing a boosters speed using something like cheat engine would do this but it not correct is all im saying is i have built his mech in the same way and also tried using different body's different gens making it as light as possible i am not calling fable a cheater i just want a little more incite to this and nothing makes it that do that "nacht alula" that you call i have never seen anyone calling it night alula qb and looking that up on google gives me pretty much nothing in terms of results

Regarding the commentary near the beginning - I think I'm missing something about the Therapist. It builds status with agonizing slowness. It's a bit lighter than the Haldeman, has worse reload time and less ammo, and... puts a small amount of electricity status on the target.

It doesnt use your FCS when it fires, meaning you can run SLT or even P01 if youd like. It also has some of the longest range in the game. Therapist goes hard now ngl
