Fellow lover of Wingspan and Wyrmspan here !! They are my all time favorite board games. Glad you like them as well. Also I am maybe going to Edinburgh this year and I just put Book Lovers bookshop on my to visit list. Thanks for the rec.
Hearing you talk about Babadook reminds me of the korean show "Light Shop". It has horror elements but also explores grief and human bonds. It's on Disney+.
I love Hades. I played it on pandemic times and it entertained me a lot. The characters were so endearing and it was so interesting how each run was different depending on which gods you interacted with.
Hades is my favorite game and Hades II is even better! I can't wait for you to play it 😀 Those games rekindled my love of Greek mythology and it's how I found your channel! And I also spent 90% of Tomb Raider hanging out in the mansion 😅 Have you ever played Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice? It's based on Norse mythology and is also one of my favorites :) Thanks for this video!
Omg stop really? Even better! Why isn't it on switch already?! I haven't tried Hellblade though and I'm looking for a new game so I'll check it out - thank you
Very much not a new board game (originally published 2015), but have you tried Argonauts from Alcyon Creative? I'd be interested in your thoughts both as a game and as an expression of mythology.
Thank you so much for your recommendations.
Hay-on-Wye and Book Lovers Bookshop of Edinburgh are on my travel list.

Ooh interesting! I hadn't heard of it but it sounds like something I'd really enjoy. I'll give it a go.
The mansion was def one of the best bits of Tomb Raider haha!
Still legitimately believe this aha.

Yes! The characters are a big part of why it's special actually now you mention it.

Oooh no but I'll have to see if I can track it down. I love games with an ancient spin.
