This is as strong a first episode as any I have seen so far in my somewhat limited experience of Thai BLs. The performances are very strong, and I agree that it’s clear that everyone has prepared thoroughly for this show. And I am inclined to think that Nolan is right about the character of Night and Day’s relationship with him, based on some of my own experiences. I’m glad to see both Jimmy and Sea playing very different characters from what they’ve shown us in the past, and I’m also continuing to be impressed with how well Mark is handling more serious characters: we knew he could be funny from shows like My School President, and now with Only Friends and this show we’re getting to see what kind of a range he really has.
I miss the gang’s reaction to last twilight already so just gonna rewatch it from the start again, even though this is already my 6th rewatch! I hope you’re healing well Kent. Take all the time you needed. ❤❤❤
The fighting scene, Jimmy still has some of the bad buddy energy left😅😂; Day’s mom was a bit judgemental and prejudiced😳🤔(she better not be trouble later🧐🫢) I love the concept here this ep is that the reason why Day chose Mhok is because he felt like Mhok doesn’t treat him as someone weak and needs to rely on others all the time, like he’s still capable and can handle himself in life even though he does need some help now…. but Mhok made him feel like he’s not “dead” inside, like he’s still “live”, and I love they used “the little Prince” as reference there, exactly, we don’t always use our eyes in order to view things, we can use our heart to see things clearly🤩🥹🫶
As a person who is visually impaired, I loved how this series started. Every little detail here and there whether it was in the dialogue/scene or just in the acting, it was done brilliantly and felt intentional. Before Last Twilight that came out before the series started to air, they shared how they had made research for the show and the actors had prepared for their roles. What I loved the most is that Sea actually worked one on one in person with a person who is visually impaired in order to prepare for his role. I love Day and his personality. Him being sassy and everything ect. I think the way his family is treating him and other people isnt really helping even if they care for him. Them being overprotective, limiting Day from doing things or even trying to do things himself and helping him without asking if he needs it ect. Day doesnt want/need pity or be helped all the time, being treated like his less capable or that he is cannot be trusted to make decisions for himself and more than anything else he doesnt need people patronizing him or infantilizing him. Day needs someone to treat him like a human being, a regular person ect. Mhok making his entrance the way he did to the interview and speaking to Day the way he did… made an impression on Day. Mhok was raw, honest and straightforward. Mhok saw that Day is capable and he doesnt have to be careful around him. He wasnt treating Day like he was broken/fragile or pitying him. Most importantly Mhok WASNT patronizing/infantilizing a person like Day who is visually impaired/ a person with a disability. Mhok was treating him like everyone else. Loved your reaction💙💜
The little prince scene was beautiful. Mhok as the fox and Day the little prince. The portrayal was wonderful. The scene was a beautiful but natural way of mirroring the start of MhokDay’s relationship. I also like the changed that had been made to the scene, It felt more like a intimate moment between the two, both felt understood and seen. The moment were Mhok asked Day to come and get his card from him by himself. To me it felt like the way Mhok was treating/talking to Day, he was telling Day ”I see/consider you as a regular person just like me”. While Day was telling Mhok ”I’ll give you a chance like everyone else/like no one else has”. It was like both were telling each other both of them have to have courage to give each other and themselves a chance.
Not only Mork saving Day from the traffic, Mork respected Day's willingness, he advised to take him home on the motorcycle, not the car that Day obviously didn't want that timing, normal people tag him blind first, maybe force him or ignore Day's thought, but Mork didn't. He seeing him as a person first, and helping him bc he truly care. Day needs someone that will not amplify his eye problem, bc it already damage him so much, he didn't need others to remind him, he maybe sometimes need help, but not disability.
When Day said to stop the interviews and just said he felt like he wanted to puke😂 I felt that in my bones. Cause what the hell were those people who applied to be a caregiver…
I don’t think you will have someone close to Day donating their corneas as they themselves would be blind. Corneas are a donation taken from a deceased person, it’s not a living donation like a kidney or part of a liver. So unless someone conveniently dies on the show then the match,if he gets it, will be from an anonymous dead person😊
I feel that Day is treating his brother this way because he feels that he is a burden to Night ever since he got blind. Day is probably using those things he said as excuses to push his brother away so that Night can live his own life. If you pay attention to the beginning of the episode, before the badminton match, you can see a photo of Day and Night looking very close.
I don't know why but everytime when I see Jimmy, I see this particular scene from Bad Buddy when he dropped the curtains and outed Pat & Pran 😂😂 But this aside Last Twilight is the BL of 2023. It has ateast a good story and great acting
This episode had me crying! It's a sad and helpless feeling watching (knowing there really isn't anything you can do)I witnessed My Great Aunt slowly go blind and this was a woman who was a WAC and retired as a LT.Major!
Once again, a pretty strong and decent start🎉👏💪🫶, so far, PAof hasn’t disappointed us, not even for 1 series😎🥰; I’m ready for “BL of the Year” that’s what PAof said🤭😇, besides, my men JimmySea💗😍I loved vice versa even though that plot was a bit weak, so you know I’m even more biased😂😅🤣
Hi guys, Great reaction to a great serie of P’Oaf choosing the right actors. Every character has a bagage that will explore in the future episodes. I’am looking forward to the next episodes. About the elevator scene I think that they want to make a statement too. Normally you can hear a voice 😮stating where department you’re and guiding you in an eye hospital.
The elevators most likely do have braile but you're also assuming that Day knows how to read braile. Day is in denial that he will get new eyes soon and he'll be normal again so in his mind, I'm guessing, to him learning the ways of the blind like using a cane or learning braile are pointless.
am afraid if his sister connected to his accident but her car only got a band aid though Probably either Night caused the accident or they have different Dad
@@KentClarkOfficial I am 💯 with you on that OST! Repeat on repeat on repeat! I cannot wait for it to drop! I am still trying to figure out who sings it cause his voice sounds so familiar …

So happy to see you all four reacting to Last Twilight.
In 24:34, I was half-expecting Mark to kiss Jimmy. Only Friends trauma lives on. Hahahaha
Same Kent! Same!
I WANT THAT OST RELEASE RIGHT NOW!!!
omg didn't expect yall to be this fast🥺💗

People got mad cuz they said the mom wasnt being defensive enough of Day when Mhok roughrn him up a bit during the interview.
I love
Love it

Isn't that the car from ONLY FRIENDS???
Kent, I can’t find your reaction to the new trailer. Did you provide the link?
It was only posted on my Patreon 😊

I’ve heard it was one of the members from LYKN!
Jimmy giving away his eyes? It's the kind of sick, twisted ending I don't want to see happen either.
❤❤❤
