A little arcane easter egg for you: when Cait and Vi enter the brothel in S1 E5 the two lovers smoking the hookah pipe are wearing Lamb and Wolf masks.
Lore dump for Still Here. The 2 Angels are Kayle and Morgana, they're sisters. If you thought the dynamic between Vi and Jinx was interesting and complex, the dynamic between these 2 is absolutely nuts. There's a reason why Kayle gives her the evil side eye when she walks by her. The Lamb and the Wolf are called Kindred . They are this universe's Death. They're basically the grim reaper. The Lamb takes the dying who are willing to go peacefully and the Wolf takes those who refuse to be taken and want a fight. They make an appearance throughout this entire video. You can see the wolf in the fire in the transition between the first and second scene, you can see his eyes in the trees at the end of the second, as well as the lamb's arrow coming for Yasuo as he closes his eyes accepting a peaceful death. In the last scene they try to take Tryndamere but they can't seem to do it for some (good) reason, which is why the lamb tilts her head in confusion. The woman who comes to his rescue is Ashe, his wife. Best ship in the universe? Maybe.
You can also mention that in the Video "Blood Sweat & Tears" where we can see Ambessa from Arcane, she and all other Noxians worship Kindred (The Lamb & The Wolf), but only the Wolf because a true warrior never surrenders. Ambessa says in Arcane many lines and try to teach Mel the Way of the Wolf.
Tibbers was a gift from Annie's mother, you can see it in the drawings, which is why she loves the bear so much. it was the gift she gave before she died.
FYI Riot is dropping its Season 2025 cinematic on the 9th I believe, and it's noxus themed so we'll probably see katarina in there, if you're interested. Plus I thought I'd mention since you seem to be interested in the woman in the Gold Armor, her name is Leona and she has quite the story. I'd suggest looking up a vid of her and diana's story or if you can find the link to whatever riot website it's on, you can read part of it instead. it's a rather heartwarming/heartbreaking story. Her and diana are pretty much Caitvi with 10x the angst, if you're interested.
@@lafatte24 Yeah but I also think that jinx being the easier champ to play also had a decent part to play in the popularity of the two. I've played kat twice and I had no fkn Idea what I was doing, but I'm a decent jinx, she's one of my favs to play out of the ADC's.
I just commented on Still here, but I'll leave a even more brief on the Call: *Pantheon* : He is the man. *Olaf* (the yellow bearded man with the axe): His entire thing is that he is an amazing warrior who is prophesized to die out of an illness in bed. Which he cannot accept, being a warrior he wants a death in battle of the highest glory. This is why he tends to rage into battle, and he wins them because according to the prophecy he cannot die in battle, and it has been true until now. *Volibear* (the bears in the snowy region - Frejlord): Okay, so Volibear is a demigod (he can control lightning so kind of like Thor). You see the figure of him in the lightning. The polar bears you see fighting Olaf and Sejuani aren't Volibear but they are a tribe that worships him. Also to note when Kai'sa (The purple girl) dives into the pit with Rek'Sai in tow, the story is actually kind of continued in the Bel'veth cinematic. Which is a champion teaser, but like thought you'd like to know since you found her interesting. I left a small lore on her in the previous cinematic reaction. Ps. I like how you do little research on things you are very confused about because other reactors just leave it for people to comment on but then it sucks because we don't get to see their reaction to the info
1:27 Kai'Sa is her name... her "armor" is symbiotic/parasitic organism from the Void.. it's basically living on her body... 12:14 Morgana... blonde one is her sister Kayle... 13:39 Yasuo you saw him in Awaken + Odyssey skin trailer (Jinx introduce him as a captain of the ship).. this is his "old future version" from vison of his death (Kindred showed him) SO FAR WE KNOW there is no future project between Riot and Fortiche on horizon... and we know that Riot was looking for people experienced with lifeaction production...
The story of Leona and Diana, I discovered it not long ago and it is very good. I hope you react, there is also a cinematic. Love your reactions and comments!
This!! Leona and Diana were technically the first official lesbian couple! They have a cinematic and they also have a written story on the league universe website called "Rise with me" and its really really good!!
Some fun tidbits, Kaisa, the purple void girl, was also in the cinematic Warrior, Leona, the golden armor girl, was also in the cinematic A New Dawn, so good catch, recognizing the same characters from different cinematics is a fun thing to do
The old guy is Yasuo (one of the most popular champions) Hes from Ionia. This is a older possible version of him. Hes the guy who made a tornado in Awaken (also the captain of the space ship in the fun video with jinx with orange hair)
Fun fact about Tibbers, Annie's teddy bear: Long ago before Noxus was even a nation, when only Noxite tribes habitated the lands, an undead warlord known as Mordekaiser (with a ton of backstory I won't get into) went into a sort of rampage across the world, killing everything in his path. But of course, he wasn't alone, he was aided by some followers, but more importantly 2 demons, Attakhan and Tybaulk, Tybaulk being a fire-demon that, once literally everyone allied against Morde and defeated him, was locked away in a fire droplet which was sealed inside the teddy bear Annie now holds. Bit of a long fun fact but it is interesting huh?
4:20 Hey Claudie, the series "His Dark Materials" by HBO is an adaptation of the same books as The Golden Compass! The first season roughly covers the events of the movie, and the following 2 seasons cover the rest of the books in the trilogy. So it's a full story now, fully adapted to high-quality TV! I'd for sure watch you react to the series, it's pretty damn good!
@@ClaudieTV It's way better than the movie that's for sure. As a big lover of the original books I was pleasantly surprised with the series. Yes, sometimes it does fall a bit flat but I'd say overall it's very solid. Very good actors especially Ruth Wilson who is phenomenal as Mrs Coulter, even more than Nicole Kidman in my opinion. I'd say season 1 is the best out of the three.
@@ClaudieTVNot to worry. I came here specifically for this comment. I loved the book series and watched both the movie and HBO the series. The series is far more engaging than the movie!
its 170 champions in league with Mel, shes being added very soon and she MIGHT appear in the new cinematic coming out in around 2 days; shes also connected to a lot of the lore regarding solari (the lady with big sun shield and armour) very excited to see your interested in league lore
1:00 Ornn, a demigod in Freljorb that can forge any ultimate power weapon, even his fork can be a powerful trident for mortal 1:10 Sejuani, second generation of three sisters that ruled Freljorb 1:20 realistic Taliyah :v 1:38 Kai'sa; someone recommended Bel'vet cinema but I recommend the K/DA MV album 2:06 Yes, and the new cinematic about Noxus will be on air on the 6th or 7th of this month so we are waiting for that reaction 🙏 2:21 Pantheon, the war ascendant 2:28 Olaf, the unkillable "Viking" bcs a witch prophesied he will die old instead of glorious dead on the battlefield 3:43 Volibear, younger brother of Ornn, little ones are his worship 4:05 His old design was similar to that but after rework, he looks more like a god than just a polar bear wearing armor 7:10 Rek'sai, smaller ones are her children 11:12 Besides Morgana and Kayle, the big guy is Aatrox, the strongest darkin right now Necrit has 2 videos explaining details in Still Here because the more you watch it, the more you can find about lore. Until now it still has most lore referents in League videos list. He also has the new video about what's next after Arcane so that people who want to know about the lore, not the League game can understand it easier Great reaction
I love the style the Annie vid was made in, and it fits the story telling so well. The pictures Annie drew, that made her stepmother scared, just broke my heart. All I saw was a kid trying to work through the trauma of losing her mother, and seeing how her father had a 'new' family, with her left on the outside. It's very reminicent of X-men lore, with the kids often not being able to control their powers when they first develop.
12:17 That's Morgana 😉 22:04 Yeah you're right, that sudden zoom as she hits the ground along with the sound effect is amazing at creating the sense of impact!
@@ClaudieTV Haha, yes like her! I guess in a way she even shares some similarities with her, storywise. And god, you got me physically wincing just thinking about Jayce in 2x07 again 😬 Love that you always take the time to pause on such little moments to point them out and appreciate the craft that goes into them. Same with the tear at 19:50 morphing into the door, very cool stuff!
The whole thing about why there is so much magic wielding people in these cinematics than in arcane is mostly because arcane is from the POV of the normal people who get their hands on some fancy magical gadgets and become famous/strong enough to be comparable with immortal angels, immortal demons, gods, demigods, celestials, undead, yordles, the void and many more. If we were to compare our world with the world of runeterra, the champions would be the famous and infamous people
If you want to have a little context of the different regions, there are videos called "Tales of Runeterra" that are very good... Annie was the daughter of two Noxian wizards. Her mother was the one who made her teddy bear, she liked the stories about the great shadow bears that the other settlers told and she created that toy based on those protective beasts. Her daughter was born with pyromantic powers... it is not known for sure if the bear is possessed by those beasts or is just Annie's magical manifestation and she is the one who summons it...
1:34 There is a small follow up cinematic to this one that is called "All That Will Ever Be | Bel'Veth Cinematic - League of Legends" which shows where Kaysa went after she fell to the void at the end of this one (8:28). 8:35 think he's some sort of demigod named Orn 13:31 young Yasuo's (aka this guy) "Kin of the Stained Blade" cinematic is also a really good one to watch I think btw, you also saw him younger in "Awaken" too (16:10) 15:21 I really recommend also watching Necrit's lore explanation video for the cinematics but especially this "Still Here" cinematic, cause there are lots of little hidden details and pretty cool lore bits that are pretty hard to pick up, especially with this character "Kindred" here who is literally death personified in LoL. Also recommend watching the "Legends of Runterra" cinematics as well. There is one about Noxus and they are all pretty good imo. I would also love to see your reaction to the lore of LoL, like one of Necrit's videos explaining ore of it for example.
For those who need context: " STILL HERE" -This whole cinematic is about Kindred. They are the appereance of death. If you accept death, Lamb (the pale one) gives you a swift release with her arrow. If you avoid it, Wolf (the dark one) will hunt you down and make it more painful -The first scene is in the past somewhere around Damacia. Where the two patron sisters fight Aatrox the darkin. Darkin are akin to demon, they possess an host. In the current lore the sisters do not talk anymore because of their vastly different view on justice. Kindred is always present for a death. So when Kayle (the blonde one) burns it all down. Killing the host of Aatrox, the shape can be seen in the flame -The second is a possible future where Noxus successfully invaded Idonia. Yasuo is trying to save a few people and then dies. You can see wolf eyes in the treeline and Lamb arrow finish him off. You can see he accepts his faith because he looks up for a fraction of a second (Noticing Lamb's arrow) and makes sure to finish off the last guy before kneeling. -The last if Tryndamere in the present state of the lore. He has some of Aatrox blood and a rage so great every time he comes close to dying he pushes it away. Hence why he is fighting Kindred, fighting death. His wife Ashes comes to save him at the end but lamb will come back eventually. -The "I'm still here" is not so much the heroes it is Kindred themselves because death is inevitable. NOTE; Tryndamere's most powerful ability is his rage turned blood frenzy. This makes him immortal for a few seconds. Thus, he is the only human who can survive a direct encounter with Kindred. The Lamb and the Wolf are a single being, but they are not the angel of death. They are literally the appereance of death. The Lamb understands emotions but cannot feel them, the wolf feels emotions but cannot understand them. They are one..
Yes, indeed, the books were adapted into the series His Dark Materials, which consists of three seasons. Very well made, super beautiful, and more complete and complex to analyze than The Golden Compass if you wanted to do so Claudie.
Tomorrow a new cinematic made by Fortiche premieres on the league of legends channel. Its a cinematic about the region of Noxus and is a promo for the next LoL season. But it might foreshadow where the next show will take place and maybe we will see some characters that will be in the next show.
If you're watching "Kin of the Stained Blade" I HIGHLY recommend watching "The Path, An Ionian Myth" alongside it, as the cinematics go hand in hand together (they were made at the same time to cover the introduction of the same new champion).
On the topic of Golden Compass, there is a show named "His Dark Materials" that shares many similarities to Golden Compass, and while I can't be sure I assume its heavily inspired by the movie. Its a TV Show I watched on HBO Max, don't know where else it can be watched.
Since I didn't see anyone mention it before but the kin of the stained bladed is basically a continuation of "the path, an ionian myth" watching these two together will make it make more of a story
The Tales of Runeterra series of videos will help you understand a lot more about the (vastly) disparate regions of the world. The animation for these cinematics are also the most similar to Arcane without being made by Fortiche. Usually when people react to the Tales of Runeterra series of trailers they tack on a couple more meaningful videos from another series called Wild Rift. The order of these videos don't matter a whole lot, since each region is different thematically, but I will group the videos per "continent", with the added Wild Rift videos being tagged on after the Tales region video. Valoran: Demacia - Before Glory The Freljord - The Raid Noxus - After Victory Shurima: Piltover + Zaun - True Genius Targon - The Vaulted Road - Call of the Mountain (this is for the same game, but is not considered a Tales of Runeterra video) Shurima - no Tales video :( - Empires of the Ascended (same as Call of the Mountain. It is for the correct game, but is not a Tales of Runeterra video) Guardian's Sea (islands in the ocean): Ionia (pronounced Eye-oh-knee-uh, as you were questioning the pronunciation in earlier videos)- The Lesson The Shadow Isles - None Escape - Thresh Unbound: A Night at the Inn (Wild Rift introduction, follows a champion of The Shadow Isles, but is set in Noxus) Bilgewater - Double-Double Cross Elsewhere/Multiple Regions: Bandle City - Don't Mess with Yordles (this is set between a couple places seen in previous Tales of Runeterra videos, but fun fact, this was made for Wild Rift even though it has a Tales of Runeterra tag)
This Annie would look amazing in an animation like Arcane! I don't know much about LOL lore, but I love the art especially the ones from Legends of Runeterra. RIOT has so many interesting characters to explore, and knowing they're working on more animations makes me excited for the stories to come :D
Armor lady on first video is Leona, aspect of the Sun, figthing Patheon, aspect of War. Aspects are divine beings in Runeterra that need mortal hosts to influence events in Runeterra. Generally they merge with the owner, meaning the owner of the body stays the same person but gains the divine powers of the aspect. There is ONE known case where the mortal refused the aspect though, so the aspect forcefully took over the body instead. You'll probably like Leona and Diana's backstories, as aspect of the Sun and aspect of the Moon you can imagine their relationship is.... complicated.
Stunning videos, there is so much more to learn about other LoL characters. Annie vid animation is incredible but a bit too dark of a story for me, I get scared easily 😂 Yes to watching Golden Compass. Thanks, another great video!
See that 2 angel character 11:57 Is so much beautiful to see this twin sister fighting also... Damn i really love to see this two in the scene and see wrecking havoc the land of the damacia... THE SISTER FIGHT KAYLE AND MORGANA ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Had to pause at 4:21 here. I remember the Golden Compass, but a recommendation would be His Dark Materials. It's a reboot TV series based on Golden Compass and goes past where the movie ended.
If you're interested in the lore of still here and the characters in it, I recommend you to watch the "Still here cinematic explained" by Necrit. Maybe you could react to it, I'd really love to see that :) Have a great Day ♥
@@ClaudieTV Maaaaany of us would like you to react to some Necrit videos, because the League videos are cool as hell, but without hell much of explaining they are just flashy stuff. The real thing is the lore behind them and how well crafted they are in that regard!
I'll give a very very brief of the Still Here lore because it's definitely the most well formed of all their cinematics (lore wise) and because my exams and I have a lot of time so I hope you dive deeper into their stuff! *Kayle and Morgana (the two angels)* : They are basically sisters who however went on two different paths. Kayle is the righteous one who follows in her mothers footsteps while Morgana is the one who prefers the use of magic (which is a banned taboo where they are from and Kayle feels like it's an insult to the memory of their mother). It's not about good or bad here, Kayle is very bound by laws and the fact everything needs to be strict to maintain order to protect her people, while Morgana shares the same faith of protecting their nation but she wants to do it in a different way because of her affinity to magic. In the show her taking off the helmet and keeping aside the sword is symbolism of unshackling to her true self. *Aatrox* : Is the sword, not the big dude you saw fighting Kayle and Morgana. It's a demon residing in the sword and whoever picks it up becomes Aatrox. In the end of the cinematic you will notice the sword falls of the hand when the fire engulfs him. You also see a figure of lamb. *Yasuo (the man in the straw hat)* : Oh boy, this is a huge story. He is from Ionia. You will see him in other cinematics like you did in Awaken. He is a great warrior who has mastered the wind technique. In the cinematic this is a scene (possibly a what if scene) of his death as symbolized from Lamb's arrow and Wolf's eyes in the dark clouds. He dies protecting his village. And even though he seems to have given up fighting as shown with him using his stick, he eventually picks up the sword but still avoids killing (he never draws blood). Tryndamere and Ashe (The muscular man, and the girl who saves him in the end): I will be honest I don't know much about Tryndamere besides that he is from Frejlord and he is married to Ashe politically. They eventually fall in love, but initially it was a political move. He was stabbed by Aatrox's blade so a bit of the blood magic seeped into him and he is now able to become enraged and immortal for a brief period or something like that. *Kindred (Lamb and the wolf)* : The twin representation of death. Like the grim reaper. Lamb the peaceful harbinger of death by those who accept it, while wolf chases and hunts down those who run from it. In the video because of Tryndamere's strange condition, you can see Lamb looks confused because of why she is unable to kill him. I won't say much here because I suggest you can dive into their story and voicelines. It is beautiful. Just to note when Tryndamere was fighting Kindred it was actually symbolic of him being in the spirit realm when in reality he was fighting the warriors. You will notice there was like 6 at the beginning of the scene but by the end we see just 2 of them remaining who Ashe kills. Also the "bite" of wolf on his armour was probably a result of the actual soldiers hitting him.
20:02 eerily similar to the scene in Arcane episode 1 where Powder overhears Mylo complaining to Vi about her. I always wonder if Powder would have turned out differently if she had stayed long enough to hear Vi defend her vehemently
So, since you mentioned the Golden Compass movie, I got to let you know that there is a show based on those same books called His Dark Materials after the book series. I enjoyed it very much.
The Tryndamere and Kindred scene in Still Here is a really cool piece of potential lore. Tryndamere has a blood curse from the Darkin Aatrox, the demonic figure who fights Morgana and Kayle. Tryndamere allowed his rage to overcome him after being mortally wounded by Aatrox and now can fight off death with his fury. Kindred, the Lamb and the Wolf, are the Runeterran grim reaper figure. Lamb brings peaceful death to those who accept it and Wolf hunts those who fight it. That they're attacking him in that scene suggests that he came very close to death in the fight that saw him lying in the snow. When he rises he fights Kindred but he is actually fighting the men from the battle. As Ashe comes to his aid and he survives the fight Kindred leaves and he sees the real combat once again. It's never been hinted that he might see things that way towards the end, and would mean that every time he nearly dies he finds himself fighting Kindred while everyone else sees him fighting a worldly foe instead. Really sweet concept.
I don't know much about LoL, but it's still nice to see your reaction to it. And the quality of the animations is really amazing. And to see Claudie simp for Characters is still adorable 😄 Always a pleasure 😂
There is a behind the scenes of Annie Origins that I recommend you watch on the League of Legends channel... there is a lot of 3D and it is not all hand painted as they say. It is interesting how they did it...
I think the reason why The Golden Compass film hasn't got the reboot/remake treatment is bc they actually made a whole show based on the book series in 2019 that ran for 3 seasons. Not sure if you've watched it, but it has quite a few famous actors in it like James McAvoy, Ruth Wilson, Dafne Keen and Lin Manuel Miranda. I personally enjoyed it. And I also can't wait for you to get into K/DA since you clearly already like Kai'Sa. The others are just as cool 😊
1:46 Kai'sa, she is the one that is pretty much League's Venom, her and Taliyah, pretty much an earth bender, are there and they fight Rek'sai a huge void beast. 4:55 yes that is Leona, warrior of Solari, basically a tribe that worships the sun rivals or the Lunari. She is fighting with Pantheon here on Mt. Targon, a mountain sacred to many people for being close to and having connections with the divine. I am not sure why they are fighting honestly though, I think it has something to do with Ao Shin arriving, a celestial dragon. I think he was the big thing that season in game. The rest of the cinematic is in the freljord, the northern region, with various tribes fighting. The big ones of note (champs in game) are Sejuani, the lady on the boar, Olaf, the 2 axe viking dude, Volibear, the polar bear and Ornn, the smith goat man. Volibear, Ornn, and Anivia (frost phoenix, not seen here) are all demigods. Ornn is pretty chill, he wants to be left alone, the fact he is forging something here means things have gotten bad enough for him to get involved. Volibear is more a fan of war, also his followers become more bestial as part of his thing, think like shamans and bearpeople. Anivia is the protector, not as much info as the other two. There is a lot going on up here honestly. 7:33 don't worry, pretty sure they said anything Arcane did (and likely anything that spins off from it) trumps game lore. They are technically alternate universes, but things like Warwick were heavily hinted in game, they may have taken it a slightly different direction, but it is still there. Check out Warwicks character promo video though, you can see some major differences there, yet familiar. 11:56 nah, that is Kayle, same city though. She and her sister, Morgana, inherited their mothers powers as the Avatar of Justice or something like that. They are fighting Aatrox there a Darkin, which is like a demigod that got corrupted by blood magic, they were sealed into those weapons and now anyone who picks one up gets possessed pretty much. That vid is pretty crazy, it has past present and future going on. The old samurai, is Yasuo in the future. The berserker guy is Tryndamere. When he goes berserk, he cant die in game, a lot of people think this is showing what it is like for him while in that rage as he is fighting Kindred, basically death. Kindred is 2 entities, lamb and wolf, wolf is the one who hunts you if you run from death, lamb is the one who deals you a merciful death when you accept it. The lady who snaps him out of it, is Ashe, his wife and queen of the freljord. Ashe is trying to unite the tribes of the freljord.
Kai'Sa is the one that fell into the Void as a Child and came back out alive as the only one ever and that Armor is actually a Voidling attached to her Body.
12:15 ajsdfñlkjañsdfkjlsafñjskld She's Morgana, the sister of the blonde one "Kayle". Lot of stuff happened there. I'll just say this was LONG time ago and she is not the blonde girl of Warriors (Lux). But, Lux is from a noble house of Demacia, the place this happened, so maybe she's related somehow, idk. I love Morgana, she is the best forest witch ever
Hi Claudie! First of all, love your content! After season 2 of Arcane I (like many others) got obsessed with other people's reactions to the show and I have your channel in my top 1, way to go! :D I have one suggestion - LoL has a cool website with lore of all the characters and regions, with backstories, short stories, illustrations, etc. It would be cool to add at the end of watching the cinematics your reaction to them, or to make a separate series of videos purely with lore reactions :) Anyway, I'll watch anything you post, you're very interesting to listen to! :) Thanks and cheers from Ukraine!
Thank you so much! I'll note it down for sure, thank you. What's the site's name? Just put it's name not the URL in case YT deletes it :) Sending love back from UK :)
@@ClaudieTV It's called Universe of League of Legends. You can really get lost for a few hours just looking at the artwork for the champions. Also, check out the cool interactive world map on the same site, you can also make a whole separate video just on it :)
I think you'll find the divide in the "realistic" cinematics happens around 2018, with "The Climb" (directly continued by Senna: Shadow’s Embrace), which is the first in what you'd considered Riot's modern style for the season trailers, continuing through Awaken (2019), Warriors (2020), Ruination(2021) (a bit of a deviation as Riot try to do a Marvel Avengers thing over the course of the game's season), The Call (2022), and Still Here (2024). As technology improves, so too does the quality of textures and lighting. 2023 doesn't have a real cinematic due to some internal problems. There are a number of Arcane ("Fortiche Style") styled videos by Studio Fortiche for League dating back to 2014: Get Jinxed, Warriors (2014), Ekko Seconds, K/DA POP/STARS, Rise, and Blood Sweat & Tears. You can see the evolution of their style throughout. Still Here was also performed live at the Worlds 2024 Opening Ceremony and was really good.
You said you wand more of (the golden compass). Well there is a tv series called (his dark materials) the first season is basically a remake of the movie.
You can kinda see that as fantastical as Piltover and Zaun are, the whole of Runeterra is full of magical entities, mages, creatures, sorcery etc. It's an absolutely wild and amazing setting to tell stories, which is why many are excited that Riot is expanding their media projects.
Yesss, you did it! Thank you! I think you’d also like Blood, Sweat, and Tears! It’s about young Ambessa, and is one of my favorites! It’s also done in the Arcane style and was released just right before Season 2 as a promotion for the Ambessa champion and an attempt to sell in-game skins for Ambessa, Pantheon, Swain, and Samira(?). 11:49 : if you’re referring to the 2020 Warriors, the blondes are not the same. Warriors was Lux, this is Kayle. 12:19 : this is Morgana. They’re sisters. In the lore, Morgana binds her wings to walk among the mortals and use magic instead of following after their mother (to be a celestial justice-like figure), and Kayle resents her for this. Hence the nasty look from Kayle when she picks up the sword Morgana was using. In the game, Kayle uses both swords and flies, while Morgana just uses her powers and doesn’t fly. 15:40 this is Kindred, both the figure and the wolf. Kindred is the figure of death within the League lore. Those who accept Kindreds arrow will die a swift and peaceful death, and those who don’t will die a vicious death by the wolf. It’s the reason they both disappeared when Ashe (Tryndameres wife) shot the two men that were attacking him; he was seeing Kindred, death was coming for him, but it wasn’t literal. The actual reality was that he was being attacked by the men that surrounded him in the very beginning of the video. All cultures in Runeterra have their own version of Kindred that looks slightly different, due to cultural differences. If you watch Blood, Sweat, and Tears, Kindred is there too.
Loved the reaction! Necrit released a video about the lore of the black rose if you are interested In Arcane season 1 episode 4 When jinx steals the gemstone and kills the guards, she said I am a little girl who set the house on fire totally by accident She was referring to herself but it felt as call out to Annie for me
20:25 or is either of them really the problem? When Annie pulls back Tibbers from Daisy, using her powers, she doesn't really hurt her. She just scares her. When Daisy falls in the river, the fire powers do making her lose her grip on Tibbers... but would they have been able to pull her up, if that weren't the case? Either way, the real problem was Daisy jumping out on those rocks, and slipping. Not to say that her powers are in control and without issues. They do end up accidentally burning down her home and killing her loving father (and her hostile stepmother shortly thereafter). But that may have never happened, if not for Daisy's recklessness, or Daisy's mother's fear and hatred.
The guy fighting the wolf and the lamb is Tryndamere. Hes youe classic berserker character (too rageful to die). Hes fighting Kindred (the reaper in League)
Phoenix . Gods and heavy is the crown is cinematics with real players using skills of the champions and it describes what happend in the world champion competition when they faced each other
13:37 yes you've seen him before but he was younger... The samurai at Jinx odysey (yasuo).. Also at Awaken cinematic .. He was the samurai who can use the wind technique... Yasuo
12:14 !spoiler alert lore! = morgana with purple wings and kayle are sisters. the 2 swords formed a single sword and belonged to their mother (Mihira). Kayle idolizes her mother and she is extremely upset that Morgana uses this magic by leaving their mother's legacy on the ground. (Kayle recovers the 2 swords, the ones that are represented in the game). This scene takes place 1000 years ago. the city is "zeffira", they must protect it, but they will destroy it when they fight against each other... tryndamere (at the beginning and end of the video) takes place in the present.. and finally, old yasuo, it's in the future, at the time of his lore, when he didn't want to kill anyone anymore. in this scene, he doesn't hurt any of these assailants and uses his last attack, not to kill, but to protect this man from the arrows that fall on them (we can see the form of kindred in the montage), marking the fact that yasuo dies at this moment.
At this point, there is now only one canon for the universe and Arcane is canon. That is Morgana and her sister Kayle. Next is Yasuo. Last and also first is Tryndamere and his wife Ashe, he is fighting Kindred, the aspect of death in Runeterra. Annie is a mage like Mel but she has control issues. Tibbers her bear is an actual demon Tybaulk that she can manifest.
tomorrow they will release a cinematic and its prob gonna be related to the new series that will be in the same universe as Arcane its called ( Welcome to Noxus - Bite Marks (ft. TEYA) | 2025 Season 1 Cinematic ) you should check it out
I read all the lore and short stories of LoL champions thanks to Arcane, I really enjoyed the majority of them, they have a lot of different tones and types of stories. I have never played the game but I really enjoy knowing about the champions and world. I think you would like the short story "Rise with me" it's for the champions Diana and Leona. My favorite champion other than Caitlyn is Kindred their short stories are great 👍
Love how chronically off line you are, yet you have a YT channel 😂, She-Ra is a Netflix cartoon, and Adora in the main character! You’re just similar to her in mannerisms!
Someone give Claudie a good kda playlist with the videos in right order pls 😂
Yeah honestly please do, below here :) 👇
@@ClaudieTV you know what let me 😂. Also, are you planning on watching the star guardian cinematics? Jinx is in there but it’s an AU. Not canon.
legends of runeterra has some videos too
@@boop__ Thank you :)
Not sure tbh got alot in the pipeline hahaha
@@ClaudieTV
Not sure if links are allowed, but this is the official playlist from the LoL youtube channels. Some of them are audio only which you can skip. The order is correct though.

Maybe.
Ye, Tryndamere and Ashe relationship is arranged marriage at first but they realized its not that bad and they embraced it at the end . 😂
I just realized that Kindred looked confused because she couldn't "take" Tryndamere due to his R (immortality). Wow.
12:18 Morgana going off here is one of the best moments in all League cinematics
Next cinematic is coming real soon (January 7th!!) and will be produced (or maybe sang idk) by Alexander Seaver aka Mako that you know from Arcane
Ah cool, saved the date will keep my eye out for it
A daisy (literally) burning at the end is just genius in the Annie cinematic.
We got that burning daisy as an Icon inside the game when this animation was released
Riot owns a piece of Fortiche since 2022 I would assume the cooperation will continue.
Tibbers was a gift from Annie's mother, you can see it in the drawings, which is why she loves the bear so much. it was the gift she gave before she died.
The Call and Still Here are also animated in France, by Unit Image studio.
Ah cool thank you :)
It's funny Claudie is so into Katarina because imo she was what jinx was before jinx was released. The sexy crazy hot badass female mascot of league.
@@lafatte24 Yeah but I also think that jinx being the easier champ to play also had a decent part to play in the popularity of the two. I've played kat twice and I had no fkn Idea what I was doing, but I'm a decent jinx, she's one of my favs to play out of the ADC's.
Correction: the season 2025 trailer is on the 7th not the 9th sorry 😞
I just commented on Still here, but I'll leave a even more brief on the Call:
*Pantheon* : He is the man.
13:39 Yasuo you saw him in Awaken + Odyssey skin trailer (Jinx introduce him as a captain of the ship).. this is his "old future version" from vison of his death (Kindred showed him)
SO FAR WE KNOW there is no future project between Riot and Fortiche on horizon... and we know that Riot was looking for people experienced with lifeaction production...
Ah, yes, my favorite doomed yuri couple...
Congrats for the 3k milestone ! 🎉🥂
Thank you!!
Some fun tidbits, Kaisa, the purple void girl, was also in the cinematic Warrior,
Leona, the golden armor girl, was also in the cinematic A New Dawn, so good catch,
recognizing the same characters from different cinematics is a fun thing to do
The old guy is Yasuo (one of the most popular champions) Hes from Ionia. This is a older possible version of him. Hes the guy who made a tornado in Awaken (also the captain of the space ship in the fun video with jinx with orange hair)
Ah gotcha ok!
The new camera angle is nice. Also, the addition of the race cars in the background is a nice touch. Keep it up, it's all coming along nicely.
Yeah finally got my lego cars back on their stand haha, had a bit of spare time around xmas :)
I still think the Annie cinematic while maybe not as visually crazy, is one of the best story cinematics Riot ever did, bar none.
Yeah heard mixed reviews, but will note it down, might check it out! :)
@@Wole58 Yeah knew Ruth Wilson was in it, she's from Luther isn't she?
@@boredmarinerd808 Ah cool ok I'll note it down :)
The girl in the golden armor with the shield is Leona, one of Riot's other LGBTQ+ champions! She is a lesbian :)
Ah awesome!
its 170 champions in league with Mel, shes being added very soon and she MIGHT appear in the new cinematic coming out in around 2 days; shes also connected to a lot of the lore regarding solari (the lady with big sun shield and armour) very excited to see your interested in league lore
1:00 Ornn, a demigod in Freljorb that can forge any ultimate power weapon, even his fork can be a powerful trident for mortal
1:10 Sejuani, second generation of three sisters that ruled Freljorb
1:20 realistic Taliyah :v
1:38 Kai'sa; someone recommended Bel'vet cinema but I recommend the K/DA MV album
2:06 Yes, and the new cinematic about Noxus will be on air on the 6th or 7th of this month so we are waiting for that reaction 🙏
2:21 Pantheon, the war ascendant
2:28 Olaf, the unkillable "Viking" bcs a witch prophesied he will die old instead of glorious dead on the battlefield
3:43 Volibear, younger brother of Ornn, little ones are his worship
4:05 His old design was similar to that but after rework, he looks more like a god than just a polar bear wearing armor
7:10 Rek'sai, smaller ones are her children
11:12 Besides Morgana and Kayle, the big guy is Aatrox, the strongest darkin right now
Necrit has 2 videos explaining details in Still Here because the more you watch it, the more you can find about lore. Until now it still has most lore referents in League videos list. He also has the new video about what's next after Arcane so that people who want to know about the lore, not the League game can understand it easier
Great reaction
Can't recommend Necrit enough. Especially if you are interested in all the lore of the world.
for real, all the community knows him as League lore lord :v
There's also an old conematic called "A Twist of fate". Katarina is also in it.
15:50 Look at his face when he finally looks at his beloved... I melted
12:17 That's Morgana 😉
22:04 Yeah you're right, that sudden zoom as she hits the ground along with the sound effect is amazing at creating the sense of impact!
Ah like Morgana Pendragon... sorry Merlin fan!
And yes that impact got me almost as much as Jayce falling in 2x07
@@ClaudieTV Haha, yes like her! I guess in a way she even shares some similarities with her, storywise. And god, you got me physically wincing just thinking about Jayce in 2x07 again 😬
Love that you always take the time to pause on such little moments to point them out and appreciate the craft that goes into them.
8:35 think he's some sort of demigod named Orn
13:31 young Yasuo's (aka this guy) "Kin of the Stained Blade" cinematic is also a really good one to watch I think btw, you also saw him younger in "Awaken" too (16:10)
15:21 I really recommend also watching Necrit's lore explanation video for the cinematics but especially this "Still Here" cinematic, cause there are lots of little hidden details and pretty cool lore bits that are pretty hard to pick up, especially with this character "Kindred" here who is literally death personified in LoL.
Also recommend watching the "Legends of Runterra" cinematics as well. There is one about Noxus and they are all pretty good imo.
I would also love to see your reaction to the lore of LoL, like one of Necrit's videos explaining ore of it for example.
Gotcha ok :)
For those who need context: " STILL HERE"
-This whole cinematic is about Kindred. They are the appereance of death. If you accept death, Lamb (the pale one) gives you a swift release with her arrow. If you avoid it, Wolf (the dark one) will hunt you down and make it more painful
-The first scene is in the past somewhere around Damacia. Where the two patron sisters fight Aatrox the darkin. Darkin are akin to demon, they possess an host. In the current lore the sisters do not talk anymore because of their vastly different view on justice. Kindred is always present for a death. So when Kayle (the blonde one) burns it all down. Killing the host of Aatrox, the shape can be seen in the flame
-The second is a possible future where Noxus successfully invaded Idonia.
They are one..
the golden compass have been adapted in tv show iin 2020 . It's call "His dark martierials" and it's pretty good !!
Yes, indeed, the books were adapted into the series His Dark Materials, which consists of three seasons. Very well made, super beautiful, and more complete and complex to analyze than The Golden Compass if you wanted to do so Claudie.
Morgan- restorative justice, Kayle- retributive justice. If Kayle had been in Arcane she have just killed them all.
Tomorrow a new cinematic made by Fortiche premieres on the league of legends channel. Its a cinematic about the region of Noxus and is a promo for the next LoL season. But it might foreshadow where the next show will take place and maybe we will see some characters that will be in the next show.
Got notifications on, don't you worry :)
13:43 yes we see him named Yasuo from Awaken(2019) cinematic, also appeared with redhead Jinx vid😅
Hey! Dunno if anyone else told u already but they made a tv series about the golden compass, it has 3 seasons and is called His Dark Materials
3K subs so fast and well deserved 😉 Congratulations Claudia 🎉 Looking forward for your reactions Blue Eye Peaches ouch..I mean Samurai' 😂
Thank you haha!
Valoran:
Demacia - Before Glory
The Freljord - The Raid
Noxus - After Victory
Shurima:
Piltover + Zaun - True Genius
Targon - The Vaulted Road
- Call of the Mountain (this is for the same game, but is not considered a Tales of Runeterra video)
Shurima - no Tales video :(
- Empires of the Ascended (same as Call of the Mountain. It is for the correct game, but is not a Tales of Runeterra video)
Guardian's Sea (islands in the ocean):
Ionia (pronounced Eye-oh-knee-uh, as you were questioning the pronunciation in earlier videos)- The Lesson
The Shadow Isles - None Escape
- Thresh Unbound: A Night at the Inn (Wild Rift introduction, follows a champion of The Shadow Isles, but is set in Noxus)
Bilgewater - Double-Double Cross
Elsewhere/Multiple Regions:
Bandle City - Don't Mess with Yordles (this is set between a couple places seen in previous Tales of Runeterra videos, but fun fact, this was made for Wild Rift even though it has a Tales of Runeterra tag)
After the Golden Compass, they made a tv series that includes everything
, His Dark Materials.
BTW if you don't know, , and . will do frame by frame movement in a video if you're ever trying to land on a specific frame. :)
Stunning videos, there is so much more to learn about other LoL characters. Annie vid animation is incredible but a bit too dark of a story for me, I get scared easily 😂 Yes to watching Golden Compass. Thanks, another great video!
See that 2 angel character
11:57
Is so much beautiful to see this twin sister fighting also... Damn i really love to see this two in the scene and see wrecking havoc the land of the damacia... THE SISTER FIGHT
KAYLE AND MORGANA ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
His Dark Materials is a series from the same source books as the Golden Compass. Sadly it only had 3 seasons.
I like how all reactors goes "wow wow wow" and miss Kayle's judgmental glance at Morgana
Had to pause at 4:21 here. I remember the Golden Compass, but a recommendation would be His Dark Materials. It's a reboot TV series based on Golden Compass and goes past where the movie ended.
3:08 The world outside of Piltover & Zaun is truly terrifying.
If you're interested in the lore of still here and the characters in it, I recommend you to watch the "Still here cinematic explained" by Necrit. Maybe you could react to it, I'd really love to see that :) Have a great Day ♥
I'll note it down :)
Thank you, you too
@@ClaudieTV
Maaaaany of us would like you to react to some Necrit videos, because the League videos are cool as hell, but without hell much of explaining they are just flashy stuff.
I love your forgetting names.. No problem miss
Same, as long as they continue with Fortiche, I'll be hyped for every new show that comes out
By the way the golden compass was from a book and they made a very good tv series about it its called "his dark materials"
"ok, riot, this is how league of legends is going to look, what kind of style should we do the cinematics with?"
Riot: "yes"
😂
And to see Claudie simp for Characters is still adorable 😄
Always a pleasure 😂
🥰
they made a complete tv series on the golden compass called His Dark Materials
Oh yeah,if you want to watch "kin of the stained blade" next, you should also watch "the path:an ionian myth"
They're connected in a way.
Noted thank you :)
There is a series of the golden compass. It's called "his dark materials". Maybe you want to watch that one
If you're a big fan of the golden compass and the rest of the book series, they made a tvshow called His dark materials which is fantastic!
There is a behind the scenes of Annie Origins that I recommend you watch on the League of Legends channel... there is a lot of 3D and it is not all hand painted as they say. It is interesting how they did it...
Yeah the golden armored Aspect of the sun is Leona. She was in A New Dawn. :) She'll appear in a few other videos too if you end up watching them all.
Purple haired woman with the wings and chains is Morgana, fighting alongside her sister Kayle, against Aatrox
Tales of runeterra shorts are good ministories that give a glimpse of each region.
Kai'Sa is the one that fell into the Void as a Child and came back out alive as the only one ever and that Armor is actually a Voidling attached to her Body.
Lovely! I was excited to see when you got around to 'still here'

She's Morgana, the sister of the blonde one "Kayle".
I have one suggestion - LoL has a cool website with lore of all the characters and regions, with backstories, short stories, illustrations, etc. It would be cool to add at the end of watching the cinematics your reaction to them, or to make a separate series of videos purely with lore reactions :)
Anyway, I'll watch anything you post, you're very interesting to listen to! :) Thanks and cheers from Ukraine!
Thank you so much! I'll note it down for sure, thank you.
What's the site's name? Just put it's name not the URL in case YT deletes it :)
Sending love back from UK :)
@@ClaudieTV It's called Universe of League of Legends. You can really get lost for a few hours just looking at the artwork for the champions. Also, check out the cool interactive world map on the same site, you can also make a whole separate video just on it :)
@@IgorPrylipko Thank you so much!
The woman with the bow and arrow is his wife.. she saved him and thats why the grim reapers wolf & the lamb “kindred” stoped hunting him
Yesss, you did it!
Blood, sweat and tears is in this vid :)

@@ClaudieTVhow did I miss that!! Thank you!!
Loved the reaction!
Necrit released a video about the lore of the black rose if you are interested
In Arcane season 1 episode 4
When jinx steals the gemstone and kills the guards, she said I am a little girl who set the house on fire totally by accident
She was referring to herself but it felt as call out to Annie for me
now we just have to wait until she reacts to the legends of runeterra!
But that may have never happened, if not for Daisy's recklessness, or Daisy's mother's fear and hatred.
instead of watching the movie the golden compass just watcg the series called his dark materials
Finally getting time to watch this and less than a minute in “Are you taking the piss?” Damn, we need more cool expressions like this in the U.S. ! 😂
The guy fighting the wolf and the lamb is Tryndamere. Hes youe classic berserker character (too rageful to die). Hes fighting Kindred (the reaper in League)
5:56 The eye detail appreciation, yay
Great reaction as always Claudie (:
12:15 - „Who is that?“ That is Morgana (and the other one is Kayle)😄
Thank you 🥰
Phoenix . Gods and heavy is the crown is cinematics with real players using skills of the champions and it describes what happend in the world champion competition when they faced each other
That dark angel is morgana, the prick behind her is kale. There is a bit of irony between their looks you see
The prick...?
You'll get it by either waiting for them to get an adaptation or by watching necrit's lore video on "still here" @@ClaudieTV
Nooo I'm late to the party, its fine, looks like the community already caught you up with the characters hehe
Love how you're the novice but are telling the ones schooling you off 😆
hahaha
At this point, there is now only one canon for the universe and Arcane is canon.
That is Morgana and her sister Kayle. Next is Yasuo. Last and also first is Tryndamere and his wife Ashe, he is fighting Kindred, the aspect of death in Runeterra.
Annie is a mage like Mel but she has control issues. Tibbers her bear is an actual demon Tybaulk that she can manifest.
4:13 Yea, I would be genuinely interested. I dont recall if I have seen it or not
and edit: I really love the new camer angle.
Oh, the disgust on Kyle's face when Morgana used magic...
tomorrow they will release a cinematic and its prob gonna be related to the new series that will be in the same universe as Arcane its called ( Welcome to Noxus - Bite Marks (ft. TEYA) | 2025 Season 1 Cinematic ) you should check it out
noted already, don't you worry I'll be on it :)
My favorite champion other than Caitlyn is Kindred their short stories are great 👍
Love the constant use of the finger guns, you remind me so much of adora from she-ra!
Haha no idea who that is but thank you!
Love how chronically off line you are, yet you have a YT channel 😂, She-Ra is a Netflix cartoon, and Adora in the main character! You’re just similar to her in mannerisms!
