The hosebed cover is a great idea. It does a great job of hiding that sloppy hose load.

Just like you have enough to pay for a new house when it burns down. These people protect you!

@@bsfv2010 Oh bullcrap. When was the last time your house burned down? They play on fear and people like you who have no idea what they really do. I was a Firefighter for over a decade and in that time got a very clear picture on how their job is so overrated and glorified by the media and TV. If your house catches fire are you gonna stay inside and wait for them to bring you out? Of course not your gonna walk out. That image of them running into burning buildings and saving people is way more Hollywood BS than it is reality. And if you ever did need saving which you will most likely never there would be more of a chance a neighbour or passersby doing it. Just based on your title I can tell your one of the many people who have been snowed by the career firefighters PR machine. Do you get paid to sleep on your job? They do! Yes there are many things they will never tell the taxpaying public about their jobs and what it really truly entails. Do some research and find out the truth. Don't base your opinion on what you see on TV or movies. Only 3% of their calls are fire calls the other 90% are mostly nonsense calls pike alarms or chasing around behind an Ambulance trying to maintain the call numbers as over the yrs mostly due to improved building codes and practices their firecall numbers have dropped drastically. Know your facts before you pin any medals on them.
