The scenario i see is this...kenya police are captured and held hostage in Haiti. Kenya govt will tell kenyans that ksh1trillion ransom is being demanded. So they borrow the 1T. Between kenya and haiti, somewhere in the Pacific ocean, 999billion will disappear and only Ksh1billion makes it haiti. Then bodies of kenya police in Haiti will...fill in the gap.

You are wrong on Haiti. I left Kenya in 1988 and have lived in Florida & Georgia since, with many Haitians. This is a small country that gets a lot of bad press. Generally Haitians are peace loving people, and the security challenges of Haiti can be fixed with a dedicated team of a few honest policemen. In comparison, the Al-Shabaab menace is 1000 times more difficult to solve than the Haitian gang problem. The entire Haiti Police Force has only 9,000 officers. They have less than 25 armored vehicles. They have less than 70 vehicles, many of which are not serviced properly. Zero helicopters. Kisii County has more Police than the whole Country of Haiti. Now you can understand why only 1,000 Special Police Forces from Kenya, can make a huge difference for Haiti. Let's stop exaggerating the facts, and feeding people with fear. Barbeque will be arrested or killed in a few days in not weeks. Many of these gangs are now running away to Dominican Republic. They cannot face Kenyan Special Forces.
There is nothing special about Kenyan special forces other than where the US puts it's money. Haiti could have easily defend itself if it wasn't for like Traore said they do not want to sell defense weapons to defense forces to defend their countries. We are strong and we are the first and only black nation that was able to face them. We will do everything do defend our revolutionaries.

Kenya spends $3-4 billion on Defense and National Security. That tells you a lot about Kenya's Capability. To be honest, I think it is a blessing that Kenyans do not understand Creole or French, because this would get out of hand very quickly. Some of the Haitians, have a very abrasive rhetoric that can quickly be misinterpreted. East Africans and not your typical West Africans. We are much calmer. We do shout in your face. It is customary to treat everyone with respect. We did not ask for this mission. Kenya only volunteered to help Haiti, when nobody else was interested. That sacrifice deserves some level of respect.
