can we somehow make a donation so you can apply cutting-edge NASA technology and record the youtube video separately without the hand hider for these competitions?
I dont see the problem with a hand hider. Is there no joy whatsoever to be found in the modicum of mystery for once a week missing perfect knowledge? I just don't understand.
I like seeing these videos knowing the hand so I can compare my choices to the ones the streamer makes. With his hand hidden, It's more about seeing if he wins or loses which I don't care about
@Unpetraccable that makes a ton of sense now, I'm more interested in seeing Spike hang with chat and react to bullshit rng so a hand hider is irrelevant for me. Different strokes for different folks
When Asmo was spoiled I was delighted at how quirky the card is. Immediately got myself a copy and have been playing it ever since. Seeing you play her in a competitive manner brings me such joy.
Love the content Spike! Just a thought... Sometimes when watching videos like this I glance briefly at length of video while hitting play... which takes away the mystery of the length of the event (hinting at how you'll do). Some RUclips content I watch, especially in eSports, will add 'blank time' at the end of the video to prevent viewers like me who check length briefly from spoiling ourselves.
Doing so probably hurts metrics with youtube though since 99% of viewers would then get to the blank portion and close the video, giving it an average video watch of like 70% complete or so.
Being unable to see your hand in high stakes events is no problem Spike. It'd be cool if the YT frogs got full info yes, but the videos are still enjoyable and exciting. Your ability to describe a gamestate without revealing info is entertaining, and watching you at your most competitive is some of my favorite content, right below PowerPoints, memes and Set Reviews/recaps. Plus I fucking love Asmo. Keep it up brother
Have you messed around with Stalactite Stalker in this shell? Seems like it would fit right into the beater style while also benefitting from the discards.
Felt like Wizard_2002 is the best tron player i have seen on stream in a long time, maybe ever. Spike had a good matchup there but it seems Wizard just outplayed him no ? I am not a tron expert so maybe others here see it differently (was he just lucky ?)
I don't mind the hand hider but I have one criticism, this video came after a league (dunno which, I usually watch all spike videos on lunch) where he mentioned "Unlucky game 1 against tron, punted game 3" so I knew what was gonna happen, it would be a bit better if these were cronological because spike usually comments on his past decks/events during streams.

it’s literally an option in the capture software. many comments have mentioned it.
@dsnein it may be an easy fix, what's wrong with it though?

The concede at 13:40 was like something out of a story you tell children with the moral to Never Give Up

Great suggestion

tbh the hand hider makes it quite unwatchable
Hype
Bra why didnt you ever play those moxen weak 😂
Love your content spike, but, with peace & love, the hand hider really ruins these videos for RUclips.
cant see your hand in your vidoes lately, kinda makes it unwatchable.
Dead to double bolt
What happened to creativity.. it was massive now I haven't seen anyone playing it..
Hand hider doesn’t ruin video at all for me, just want to share that for the silent majority/minority
