If the amp part worked that would have been one of the good crates for metal! Great cabinet sound though. I liked the flamed maple panel. I recently wired up a 5150 cab with v30s and scumback bh75s x pattern.
I have a 150 watt Line 6 I haven't got to use yet. 😔.. I do have a a 2x12 Randall Cab from a 200watt Tube that I ripped the INPUT JACK out of.. I want to use my Line 6 except the speakers don't have any speaker jacks.. the Randall has wires that slide over the speaker wires. Any suggestions?
I’m in the process of doing pretty much exactly the same. Is it possible to solder the 2 cab speaker cables into 1 input Jack? 🤔 if so, any tips/advice? Would be greatly appreciated 😁
It definitely is! Just be mindful of the om rating of your speakers because you'll most likely be running in Parallel, meaning you'd have to divide that rating down. Two 16 ohm speakers would come out to an 8 ohm rating for instance.
@@ForsytheVideo thanks mate! 😊 my old Marshall Valvestate 2x12 totally died! (It wasn’t the best sounding amp in the world anyway…) Thanks to your video and reply, those nice Celestion speakers are not going to waste 😎👍 thanks mate!
HEY !! so i just got this exact amplifier and i turned the main unit into a guitar head so I'm left with an empty 2x12 body with the speakers. I'm looking to do the same thing to turn it into a proper 2x12 but i don't have experience on wood !! can you give me any advice on what to do when turning the body into a 2x12 ??? btw I'm subbing !!
Everyone needs a cat to help out with amp projects lol
It makes everything take twice as long but it's still the best!
That tiger/flame maple looks awesome. The back plate was a solid job and it sounds old school. Kudos 👏
Thanks man! I'm really digging it so far.
3:35 when the paws start pointing at where you need to be working lmao that was hilarious
Coconut is always helping!
Excurse - word of the frickin' day, Richard. Smooth moves as always, sir.
Thanks for checking it out Oren! Hope you're doing well over there.
Great job man! Looks awesome and sounds kick ass!👍🎸
Thank you!
Awesome job! Been wanting to do a project. Solid playing as well mate!

I have an old 1950s Alnico PA speaker and it sounds amazing with fuzz.
That's what I love about this kind of thing, you never know when you're gonna discover something awesome.

Yeah man, wire jacks to everything and run you a speaker cable between them, simple and flexible.
Did I search for combo "cab" or "cat" conversion!? Either way I got both so great video
Thanks! Coconut is the best helper, haha.
Great job, inspiring
Thank you!
What would happen if I do not put a block cover in the front? Is it more than cosmetic to fill the front in?
The thumbs up I gave you is actually mostly for Coconut.
Fair
My cats ”help” with all of my projects too❤
They're the best
