That's a beautiful video, and a nice pleasant change from (seemingly) hours of footage, in other RUclips videos, focused almost exclusively around the winding house. VERY nicely shot and put together - enjoyed the music too. 🙂
Really enjoyed this, one of the best in ages. Nice to see it in HD and not a poor screen recording clogged with telemetry data. Music was beautiful too - all three (or was it four) tunes. Looking forward to your next :)
A lovely bit of filming. What amazes me is how you can be sure the drone will come back or go out of range? I know absolutely nothing about drones but find them intriguing. Can I assume you have a screen to see where you're flying. Well done !
You have a phone or tablet in which you can see the view from the drone's camera. You can only see it within a limited range. This flight was an automated pre-programmed mission using the Litchi app and the mission will complete even if the drone goes out of range as it uses the drone's GPS to navigate its way back
It was a pre-programmed mission using the Litchi app. The range is limited to the battery's capacity but I managed to do 3.5 miles out and 3.5 miles back again in one of my other videos. The drone has a return to home feature which will automatically return the drone back to you if it thinks that you're going to run out of battery which can mean that a mission might not get completed if it is too long or too far away
Lol a lot of solar panels around there, great video and music made me think I was heading for the Shire to visit Frodo and Bilbo! That phantom gets nice range is it stock and what is your longest flight? Waiting for your next video!
Thanks Jon. The settings were just on auto. The original video was 2.7k but edited and saved at 1080 for uploading to youtube. I think that the shutter speed was too fast and caused a bit of jitter at times especially when circling the woods. The trees seem to quiver slightly and it's more noticeable when viewing on a larger screen. Maybe using manual settings and slowing the shutter speed might have made the video a bit smoother.
Love this thankyou! I can see my home to the right at 9:10🤗

Yeh I'm with you on that...... Is it a set flight path or are you flying it manually?? if so what's the range?
