Another banger of a video coming in at about 2 weeks. Follow my twitter to know when it drops. All I can say is that its gonna be PURRFECT 😉
Ooopoh. I've been wondering about the people from Nekoma.
He always was ❤❤❤
OMG AT THE END THERE IS A BOY THAT SAW HINATA AND ITS LIKE THE EXACT WAY HOW HINATA FIRST SAW THE TINY GIANT I CANT WAIT UNTIL THIS GETS ANIMATED MY BOU HINATA IS GROWING UP SO FAST AHHHH
Omg
TINY GIANT HAGAGAGAGAGAGAGA
This makes me so happy
I think that too
Its like a circular ending. It's when it kinda goes back to the beginning at the end. Maybe that boy went through the same path as Hinata.

Bro don’t break my freaking heart
Bro this is easily top 5 quotes of haikyuu
@@ferminmorales438 also the "this is still Volleyball" is top 5 for me.
if someone reads that quote as it is, it wouldn't make much sense; but that quote revolves around Hinata's resolve of improving himself (not just inside but outside the court too)
Hinata has officially surpassed his idol, and gotten to live out his dream. I can't wait for this all to get animated
in 2040
Ye it’s gon take a whiiilleee
Yep❤️
It will probably be a Ova for the Collage match and the last time skip to the Japan team
Has he surpassed tenma though? Too bad we'll never know how good tenma really was :(

@@ovdiaries the manga ended with them playing overseas, hinata in brazil and kageyama in spain. but i was saying like i wish they showed that game at the ending.
@@uzlen1 Kageyama is actually in Italy bro
So at the end oikawa really was the final boss😭
Sorta.i mean for the worlds championships on the final page is shows just those two and their teams.
Oikawa might just a fiercer competitor at the Olympic level due to having all elite players at his disposal.
At the world level it’s the main two protagonists.
Yasss, my babyyy💜💜
10 years time skip he became 27 😭😭
afterall hes the great king
the fact that japan lost 2 consecutive games to argentina where as oikawa is the starting setter is convincing that oikawa is the same level as kageyama and atsumu
It was a good ending for the manga until I saw Oikawa as the final boss; man, I was always salty because for me Oikawa was the best player not by his ability but for his spirit; he was a really good player yet he was surrounded by prodigies that will eventually beat him no matter how hard he trained, it was always with me how he is the only character that we know have an injury by overworking and instead of giving up when he graduated he really went to the OTHER PART OF THE WORLD following his dreams, he naturalized in Argentina and build a name for himself in that country. At the end, he stands where he always dreamed, proving his worth as a player facing the ones that he promised to beat. Man, Oikawa really did touch my heart and for me he will be always the best character of Haikyuu.

@DARK KING IlI oikawa
Let's clarify something else. Argentina is a better volleyball country than japan. Making it to the top of Argentina is actually harder than the top of Japan. So not only did he make it to the same stage, he did so on a harder road.
Edit: Actually Argentina was just passed by Japan - rn Japan is 8 and Argentina is 9. But at the time the final chapter was released Argentina was higher ranked.

Still can't get over that the series is over, this has been one of my favorites for a couple years now, sad to see it go. I still think there are plenty of arcs it could still take.
Matthew Roth same :(
They could have perfectly made and entire arc based in the olympics tbh. It was a little bit rushed to me
I have cry so much that I don’t have water in my body. Now I want to become a professional volleyball
That is the dream I am chasing.
Can’t wait to face you.
Yep professional volleyball lol so you're not gonna become a volleyball player and instead become a volleyball thst everyone hits XD

I like how hinata hugging oikawa like lost child haha funny
now we wait for all of this to get animated and cry 🥴
omg we need 1000 boxes of tissue paper that day
Still waiting 😢
The last chapter should have been named the "The Final Boss", it'd completely make sense, I'm sad that this could definitely had been one full match between the two teams, I do respect the writer's decision of not wanting to select the winner between two nationalities, "haikyuu" not only means Volleyball, it means Volleyball club and Furudate wanted to maintain that, but he could have dragged this match a bit more quarter of a chapter to 5 and ended it without revealing the winner of the game, I'd have been so much more satisfied.
I so wish the writer does realize this later in his life and hope there would be a 3-hr long movie someday featuring the olympics
I don't think I really agree. Don't get me wrong, I'd totally take a spinoff manga where furudate continues this, in 2021 during the actual olympics or something. But I feel as if, at least for the main story, thatd be defeating the purpose of what is being portrayed. This is only the beginning. They have a long career ahead of them, and theyve all made it to this stage. We gain nothing from seeing who wins in that Olympic match. It contradicts the theme of the series altogether. That being said, part of me does want to see Oikawa actually win. I just think if it happens, itd have to be outside of the main series itself. So potentially a spinoff.
One of the things that i used to hate about haikyuu that oikawa, one of my gav anthagonists in anime, didnt get that much attention apart from the fact that he was like a rival to beat in order to get to the finals xd. I really like hpw it ended for him. As part of argentina team and the anthagonist as always.
I disagree
I think this was a perfect ending
Of course with a great series like haikyuu it's always sad to know that there isn't any new content coming out but it would have had to end at some point anyway and this was an awesome ending to an even more awesome series
Oikawa won the series ended with hinata facing kageyama in the Italian league
the real mvp is takeda sensei
I think both daichi and takeda can take the MVP's. It was daichi that paired kagehina unknowingly releasing a weapon for mass destruction
Micaela Vega yes
Nope, real mvp is tanaka cuz he get that
Yeah, without him this entire story wouldn't have happened, and I like a LOT, that they gave him the respect he deserves (on the third season before and after the match against shiratorizawa)
I was screaming all the way to the last chapter and I'm still screaming now. NO ONE is ready for the animation. NO ONE.

Everytime i have to hear the final words you say i can't feel anything but sadness because I'll never see them again

I FREAKING NEW IT! MY THEORY IS RIGHT ALL ALONG!!
since I've watch Haikyuu...and sees the pros... I've always thinking... "what if one of the pros like Hinata, Kageyama, Ushijima, Atsumu and the others were in the same team.. And they will become unstoppable?"🤔😳
I've been thinking of joining the volleyball team next year.. Wish me luck guys!
volleyball is a great sport and I‘m sure it won‘t be easy at the beginning but just keep going and you will enjoy it so good luck
Good luck!:)
The comment has been a year. Did you end up joining a volleyball team?
did u join
I've been playing volleyball since 13 years old and now I'm 23 years old, all I can say is that volleyball has always been a big part of my life and I'm just 177cm tall. Even now I think about volleyball everyday. I play other sports too but no sport is more fun than volleyball I can assure you that. Volleyball has taught me many lessons in life, so many times I taught about giving up because I'm short and everytime I endure that and keep fighting, I will move to the next level. I was just a short highschool boy who wanted to try volleyball because it looked fun and now I'm in France(for studies and I've found a club) playing in a club in pre-national levels competing with people 200+cm tall. I feel so proud of where I am now because volleyball taught me to never give and remember why I started. Volleyball IS FUN.
You remind me of Matias Sanchez, Argentina's setter. He's 1.73 tall.
This gave me chills when the montage with the music started , it made me feel sad

Sam plays009 I think Furudate wants to end this series quick
@@theflesh9005 but why tho?
Well done
Although I only subscribed to you only because of haikyu I’ll keep being subscribed and watch your videos
wow. think about this. the final message of the haikyu series is to "show the world that volleyball is fun". that was their goal all along. this anime singlehandedly is singlehandedly showing the world how amazing volleyball really is, and even inspiring many to start playing! double-meaning there. how amazing. great job haikyu.
Who is cutting onions. ??? 😟😟😟😭😭😭 Rest in our hearts Haikyuu !!
I can't imagine my life without haikyuu
Same bro I feel u
Same :(
idk how im gonna live
Ikr it's so sad T^T
It will always live on in our hearts
I feel like they rushed it. They could’ve made another 100 chapters about what happened between the pre and post time skip, and nobody would’ve been mad about it. They could’ve even made more chapters of the post time skip. I guess it’s just bittersweet to see it end.
That's what I'm sayin
They could have yes but for me at least I think it would be extremely repetitive at one point sure they could improve and see how they mature but I feel like this was the best choice. Did I feel sad yes quite alot actually and at that time I really with they had continued it but now I'm just happy that it received such a good ending unlike other manga that never received an ending
I think it was just furudate´s choice to end it. He/She probably got tired and wanted to move on to another stage in his life. In terms of story it is as you say, 200 more chapters could have been made if the author so desired.
@@feedfrc6861 And also furudate didn't take much breaks when making Haikyuu unlike newer authors who take frequent breaks :/
@@patmonte8426 100%, release rate was very steady.
I hope someone will make a spin off just like mha vigilantes
I dont. I only really care about this story if its entirely in Furudate's hands. Don't think anyone should diminish the series' themes and qualities adding their own touch
@Khadijetou TAH ❤️
I hope we get an ova of the matches we didnt get to see of Hinata and Kageyama 2nd and 3rd year that would be fun and cant do damage to this masterpiece
Rengar From Hell seriously! I would love to see them be monsters as third years in the semi finals. They made it to being 3rd in the country so they’re obviously monsters
The background music just got me in my feels. Especially after those reminiscing panels on the journey and the message about the connecting before that guitar riff played, it was bittersweet and I couldn't help but smile through my tears
Man.. but who won the match
I wanted to see my boy oikawa finally beating ushiwaka and kageyama and eveyone else
Didn't he won 2 times already against them or am I wrong? the announcer in the last chapter said "The last two times these teams played, Japan emerged the loser". So I'm not really sure xD
Skyplop It’s possible that they beat Japan
during the last 2 olympics when the Monster generation wasn’t playing? Really confusing tho 😅
@@corvicious_9272 From the way the announcer said it and how kageyama said "we have them this time" is probably that oikawa did win but against kageyama and ushiwaka, not with the others
@Skyplop That would make some sense but why would the adlers play a V-League game with someone from across the country? Do you think it may be possible that Kageyama and Ushijima played in the 2016 olympic games?
@@corvicious_9272 V league? can be nationals or any other things you know, wakatoshi and kageyama went pro at the moment they finished school so it might be that
The music background along with the panel of everyone who have "supported" those two beautiful characters- literally made me cry. Haikyuu!! is truly a masterpiece!🔥
I will never forget when Sensei Takeda tell hinata
" REMEMBER THIS FEELING THERE WILL BE SURELY TIMES IN YOUR LIFE WHEN YOU WILL FEEL THIS WAY AGAIN" the desire his feeling that time
"YOU OF ALL THE PEOPLE SHOULD ALWAYS IN PEAK CONDITION SO YOU CAN BE IN FRONT LINE WHEN YOU DO GET A CHANCE " sensei to Hinata Shoyo 😭😭😭😭
he need to take care better of his body because not all the time his body can keep up 😭 he has been relying on by the members
Hinata's training in brazil completely polished his skills (Reading, Recognizing & Reacting) and earned the the title "Ninja Shoyo " for his skills 😭 it was a inspiring journey
how sport has changed all the characters
I literally cried all the time reading the last chapters. Knowing that your Anime has ended hits the most when watching Animes/reading a Manga.
The Japan men's team has Hinata, Kageyama, and Atsumu. Atsumu can both set and spike a minus quick, which means that there is a chance those three could do a synchronized minus quick attack. Wouldn't that be something to see?
Just wanna mention atsumu real quick, one thing I'm really glad about, is atsumu being on the national team. I didn't expect him to be bc he's not an mc nor an antagonist like oikawa Both his and kageyamas setting is on par with each other (the announcer says this) and in the official interview just before the Olympics, kageyama says that miyas serves are currently better so it only makes sense tbh. Tho I would've liked to see atsumu in action one last time.
I saw someone talking about how miya didn't play on day 12 so I'll clear it up.
There isn't a starting position in the Olympics, players are picked, mixed and matched according to their opponents, so it makes sense why furudate directly switched to day 12, where hinata replaces ushijima who's been playing in the previous matches and kags who's played oikawa twice before, starts in this game. Since the narrator said that atsumu too can bring out ushijimas 100% (and they've never been in a team together before) it indicates he played before day 12, just like ushijima played opposite before hinata. I'm really glad about kitas appearance and how atsumu fulfilled yet another promise.
Overall post time skip really made atsumu rise in the ranks as a character and I'm happy for all the happy endings for all of our characters.
Correct me if I am wrong but didn't the chapter say Oikawa and Argentina had been winning for the previous 2 Olympics? So Oikawa was basically god level (and a genius) after leaving high school.
So as with Shiratorizawa, Houichun(sorry forgot the whole name) Asumus Team, and others as well in HS but when they battled with Karasuno (Including the protagonist), everything changed because there's something different with Kageyama and Hinata being part of the same team. So Oikawa being a god level? Probably but with shoyo on it, nah.. just volleyball. Hheheeh
I think it said they have won the previous 2 matches against japan
@@billy627 I mean Oikawa might be god level just like before but the difference now is Kageyama and Shoyo + monster generation
Argentina had won 2 Olympics , but I guess Olympics is every 4 years ,I don't think oikawa was in that team ,it's just that argenta was a powerhouse even before oikawa joined this time
Sangay Dukpa I get the feeling Japan may have won the match but we will never know
The editing in this video is beautiful. Thanks for the journey.
The anime rlly bout to make me cry when the show comes to an end
I hope they make a movie of the Olympics
Argentina wins 🫐
@Roxanne Bechayda yes
@Roxanne Bechayda no they didn’t but in real life Japan vs Argentina and Argentina won so I feel like they would go based off that plus it would make sense
They should not reveal the results as it will give message that it is not about winning or losing
And should end at a kid watching hinata play on TV
Can we appreciate the edit, it gave me chills even tho I had read the manga before...
Will surely miss the anime that made me wanna play volleyball. Because of Haikyuu, I got interested in playing volleyball, therefore giving me a chance to shine in the real world. I'm actually at 160 cm but I'm a spiker, guess height doesn't matter. I really relate to Hinata, especially when he's wanting to get taller but instead he worked hard to get to the top.
Relax they have prob 2 or 3 more seasons before it ends in the anime
This anime is the best sports anime ever hands down
*What I love about this series is that there are no permanent rivalries and no looming villains, just people who are passionate about their sport. Yesterday’s enemies are today’s allies.*
And now we say goodbye to one of the best, thank Haikyuu for the past few years,
Please, someone, make a spinoff about the characters playing each other in the V.League, or Oikawa in Argentina, maybe one about Tsukishima, Mad Dog (Yes I still call him that bc I don't remember his actual name) and Kogangawa in division 2 trying to get into Division 1
Ok guys, don't trash me... BUTTTTT, I thought the ending was subpar, mainly because of how rushed it was. Now, don't get me wrong. I did three years of creative writing in high school, submitting my work to state and national competitions, so I 100% know how difficult it is to create a masterpiece, such as Haikyu. I can't even imagine how many sleepless nights Furudate had when she was writing, constantly thinking about the next chapter and what she envisioned the characters would be like and the goals they would accomplish. In that respect, I want to give a huge applause to her. HOWEVER, did this ending just feel unfulfilling to anyone else? Like, I'm not sure if it is just depression from realizing the series is over, but I feel like there should've been a much bigger focus on the actual Olympics game. Going into reading the chapter, I was expecting the entire thing to be about the game, however when I realized I was over halfway through, and they hadn't even started yet, I felt this huge emotional wave of "are you fu**ing kidding me!?" I feel like there were just too many things left for the readers to assume regarding the paths that each character took after the Olympics.
Idek, I want to be thankful for the amount of time and effort that has been put into this manga, and I can't wait to see everything animated 5 years down the line, but a part of my hopes that the anime takes a different route and dives more into the games that take place after the first time skip, especially the BJ vs. Adlers and Olympics matches. I feel like Furudate just started running out of steam over the last few months cuz the chapters got way shorter and less fulfilling, but I can't say I blame her, cuz working on something for 8 YEARS is crazy (in a good way). Lmk if anyone else felt like they needed more from the ending (besides because of your nostalgia), and lmk if there are any adaptations that will be coming out showing the parts that we missed, such as Hinata's remaining high school tournaments and the relationships that evolved over the course of the manga.
Wait furudate is she?

This was so underwhelming for me. There were so many interesting characters that were just forgotten. Would have loved to see anything of hinata's third year and tsukki playing with the frogs too. Everything about this arch was just too general and vague.
@Karen luvs Jesuseven the main aim of the story line also became hazy due to so many loose ends being left open. Was it that hinata would go far in his volleyball career and that's it with kageyama?? So the main ending was showed but the journey to get there which was the whole point of karasuno as a team was not important anymore. Everyone else who was linked to him was just given a job 🤣. Hell nishinoya who was a fan favourite never even showed up. It's a pretty big failure of a final arch
@Karen luvs Jesus yeah exactly. I hope that the anime can somehow expand on a few more things
The story telling and the background music are amazing.
Appreciate your efforts so much. I just wish I can see every chapter of One Piece in the same way for the first time.
Was this really the final chapter??? There's still chapters until 408 though and it says that chapter is still not released or something
In the end, there was no scene of an actual championship. None of the teams that we came to know ended up a champion. The closest we got a championship is Karasuno qualifying to nationals. Even in the time skip recap, they did not say the champions of any of the nationals. Fukurodani came closest but they lost against a team we didn't get to know. I feel like that's the beauty of Haikyuu. The idea of being hungry for victory. The idea to keep playing volleyball. That's why the open-ended ending of Hinata and Kageyama playing at a grand stage is very fitting.
‘KARASUNO HIGH SCHOOLS LEGENDARY TANDEM ONCE AGAIN FLIES ACROSS THE COURT’ 😭❤️
I wish nishinoya was the liberal for the all Japan team, that would’ve been perfect tbh.
