Watching the bands I grew up with is getting tough. I was a teenager in the 80s and at 55 I'm watching some of rock and punk heros stop touring. Nofx has been part of the soundtrack of my life... thanks guys. Hope you can reflect back, but you certainly brought this old punk/metal head alot of enjoyment over the years...
I only caught the last day's show, virtually....and it was the hardest I've ever cried. I'm 36. I've watched my best friend fall off a fucking cliff.... That was the hardest I'll ever cry lol. It was beautiful.
I just watched the final performance of the Decline at the LAST NOFX SHOW EVER, and it brought me to tears. Thank you for all the songs, years, memories, passion, inspiration, perspectives (cryptic and not so cryptic harm reduction and political commentary), love, humourous jokes (sometimes, lol) and empathy! Your band holds a special place in my heart and from myself and so many others, we'll see you all at Okie Dogs! RIP Darby Crash, and to the members of NOFX, go live your best lives!
Thank you, NOFX, this song made me cry. Bands like you and others I started listening to in my childhood, like Face to Face, Pennywise, MxPx, The Offspring, Goldfinger, made listening to punk a way of life. Not only did you manage to do it your way, but you also inspired me to do it my way. So long, and thanks for all the shoes. Standing ovation from Chile, always
I was 14 years old when I heard my first NOFX song, and I'm now two weeks away from my 39th birthday. Linoleum was on a Playstation 1 skate game called Grind Session and I fell in love instantly. It was fast, it was melodic and it sounded *good.* You guys sparked my love for all things punk rock and will always hold a special place in my heart. Enjoy the next chapter of your lives, fellas, and a well-deserved rest.
This feels surreal. Thank you NOFX for being such a great punk rock band. Your legacy over the past 4 years will always be remembered! We love you, always 💯😭🎉🔥🙌
Hearing this hurts my heart they're done playing live. We're lucky to have been alive to see the BEST punk band to exist, my heart is truly full, Thank you NOFX! Hip Hip Hoorayyyy!!
Thanks for posting this! They added a show near me in MN, unfortunately we were going on a trip to Tennessee when they were coming! You guys have been a staple in my years! Lithium was my skate song in high-school! Thanks for being awesome! Love ya guys!
I love them. They are the only band who gets to tell me what to do. Once. I was there for this and I screamed my blood out. Might have popped a blood vessel lol😂. Thanks NOFX. You’re literally the BEST.
Wow, I’ve got 30 years of memories. Thanks for all those fucking great songs. Thank you, you guys are legends, the best punk band ever! NOFX will live on 🤘🏻
Dudes.... please just record the song. Release it however.....we will happily pay. I know y'all have plenty of money so maybe thats not that enticing....but maybe just do it for us? A cherry on top of yhe gift you've given us ....that show was fucjing incredible. Either way, it's been an honor to get wasted to your music of all these years. I love you NOFX. You've taught me so very much. Thank you from the bottom of my soul.
This made cry so fucking hard.. a piece of my punkrock life kinda died when they played their last show. They saved my youth and my 20s, my life wouldn’t be the same without them. Nothing but love from Germany.❤
seen heaps of people in wheelchairs in my local scene, one of my local bands lead singer is in a wheelchair, dont feel scared people are aware and youll be safe 🤟
Spent my formative years listening to these guys. Mike will always have the ideal punk rock voice to scream a big, snotty "fuck you". All are real punks. Big props for staying together so long.
I figured you guys were just stopping touring but if this is the final of NOFX this song needs to be the final song. Yet I hope that y'all continue to still make albums. It's okay if you don't want to anymore but myself and everyone here who loves this band wants you to continue making music
People call NOFX corny or bad. I would bet this is actually their last show. Like they did the thing of breaking up a long long time ago. This one is real.
I cried on night 1 for 5 first songs straight, LOL... then some more on night 2, on night 3 I thought I had it together, until this came in and then the Decline... never cried for 20 min straight before... hahaha, what a fucking awesome weekend that was...
I’m sure you can probably find a listenable recording from one of the thousands of others have their phones in the view of this one. Or maybe just listen to this one.
@@grutfrut5817 I know Melvin sung it but the song was about Smelley. Just would have been cool to see the drummer come sing one punk song before ending it was all.
My brother isn't much of a nofx fan at all. I sent this to him, and he said, " nofx just isn't my thing, and the singers voice just sounds tired. That said, because I know for 30 years, nofx has been the soundtrack to your life, to all of those fans' lives, it did make me tear up. Especially the emotion in his voice when he said " this is the last time nofx will ever play" it hit home. I feel old. The end of an era. Rip nofx."
@@sumspring4112 I’m 40. I know what punk is. I’ve played in punks bands my whole adult life. I don’t need some kid who had a quick punk lesson from the internet telling me what punk is. 😂
Thats pretty stupid. Like pretty much everything, its stupid to see bands dip i to politics and get wrap up in all of that crap, and I guess I just honestly just saw NOFX going that route, but I should have expected it. Now, with Punk, that's true, you dabble in that area a little bit because punk was always anti-establishment with government, there was the anarchy..... But, this is all woke bull crap. The irony is, NOFX is the tool, they were had because they were caught conforming and breakway from the conforming so, they sold out. They fell for the governmental control in SOCIAL ENGINEERING. The art of progressive manipulation with an agenda often times pushed by the government in a way to slowly get people to conform, and NOFX took the bait hook, line, and sinker. How pathetic
What a career, and they even dropped a new song on their last ever show. We'll miss ya, NOFX!
