1:50 I'm proud of the man for shutting the a-hole airport security down when he was asked "How long have you been in Atlanta?" and his response was "It doesn't matter." - he's RIGHT. I hate that when cops ask stupid questions like this, they do it in simple traffic stops too. What the security guy is trained to do (WRONGLY) is ask a lot of questions to find out if someone is trafficking drugs. If he didn't ANYTHING bad on the guy, he has no right to ask stupid questions.

Back in the day before they could send money back home electronically, they basically carried all their money from their work when they traveled back home. They say the Mexican border patrol would steal their money. if they didn't have enough they would get their ass kicked. they used to give all their money to one guy to sneak back across the border. True story!

Few months ago they tried this crap on me in Atl. They wait until you're about to board so you can get desperate to board your flight. I refused told them to get a warrant, I don't answer questions, does yo Momma got drugs, I will sue you and take your qualified immunity. They made me wait saying a warrant was on the way. Just moments before the planes hatch was to be closed they let me go. Stand up for your rights.

TLDR: They probably put up a tiny a$$ sign somewhere at the airport, saying you are subject to a "random" search; 🐖 s are anything but random though.
You'd be surprised how these 🐖s get around an ENTIRE CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHT. All they have to do to affect an unwarranted traffic stop in some states is post up a sign and start a check point conga line (you'd usually need AT LEAST reasonable suspicion in order to detain anyone to begin with). There was a 1990 case that went to SCOTUS but the fascist right wing judges of course sided with the state, leaving it to each state's discretion as to whether this was legal. However, even in those cases the unbiased nature of the search had to be ensured, as would be the case for people lined up in a queue; these "random" post TSA checkpoint searches at the airport can easily be examined statistically for bias, which is what I am hearing is indeed the case.
this has never been about drugs, it's always about money. They also know that black people will give up the money rather than go through the hassle and BS of getting it back. Everyone knows drug dealers never use Black men as mules. A drug mule will always be the least suspecting person.

I was at a spill way fishing with my kids and a white game warden was checking only people of color to see if they had a fishing license on the other side. I'm biracial and said, " I bet he better not say one word to me if he doesn't check everyone"! I deliberately said it loud enough for him and everybody on my side of the bank and the other side of the bank to hear me! He stopped checking people license and left because he was called out for his racist act!
This is exactly what we need to do when we see this being done we need to call it out!

These police officers are not from the city of Atlanta they are from Clayton county. The airport is physically in Clayton county but the drug officers are typically Clayton county narcotics officers. A lot of the time people don’t have the time or money to fight back.

As a first generation immigrant, who lives in europe. I have had many friends who has visited America and had the worst experience with the security. One of my friends had to be taken to a private room and questioned, just like this guy in the movie.

I don’t fly anymore. Every single time I’ve ever flown my carry on bags have always been searched. Either a solo black male or traveling in groups where I was the only black person. Most of my flights I was in the military and traveling to and from duty stations.

One county in South Texas would stop people from Mexico coming from seasonal jobs up north with cash they could not account for with a bank statement or so and they would conseficate or cease the cash and the local sheriff or DA would deposit the money on their secretary's bank account .. they found over 1 million in her account .

Civil Asset Forfeiture is the process of taking money from people who have committed no crime. The “agents” were sheriffs deputies, not federal agents.
The police will seize cash and the owner of that cash must go to court to prove the money was legally obtained. The money, not the person, is the defendant.
If you have your cash taken you have to sue to get your money back. If the legal fees are more than the amount of money seized, most of the time people will simply walk away. If the police took $5000 and the legal fees to get the money back will be $5000 why go through the process? The police may try to negotiate a settlement if they think you have the resources and motivation to sue. They offer to return a portion of the seized money in return for dropping the suit.
This is legally sanctioned theft. The sheriff isn’t worried because he knows exactly what’s going on, and how it will play out.
