Espero no equivocarme , pero creo que estaríamos de acuerdo en que (aparentemente) la torre blanca tendria que cambiar constantemente de G8 a F8, y luego viceversa para que las blancas resistan (aparentemente), ya que si la torre blanca cambia a otra casilla en "G "(de G5 a G7 es perdida irremediable de la torre, y de G4 a G1 es jaque mate imparable si el caballo va a F6). Pero seguir yendo de G8 a F8 y viceversa ad Infinitum con la torre blanca, no salva a las blancas porque si la torre blanca va a F8 se vendría el Rey negro a G6. Luego tendría la torre blanca que volver a G8 (jaque), por lo que el rey negro se pondría en F7 y esto sería el fin de las blancas, ya que si movemos la torre a cualquier casilla de G, nuevamente vendría ,o bien la perdida de la torre o bien el jaque mate en 2 jugadas cuando el caballo negro vaya a F6. Además la torre ya no puede moverse a F8 porque el rey negro lo capturaría. Así que creo que la única jugada aparentemente válida sería llevar el rey blanco a H7 para tratar de escapar y defender al mismo tiempo a la torre, pero las blancas ya estaban perdidas y esto es solo alargar el sufrimiento (y creo que Polgar lo debe haber visto), porque igual viene caballo negro F6 y si el rey blanco regresa a la esquina en H8, la torre negra captura a la blanca y es jaque mate. Y si el rey blanco huye a H6 entonces el rey negro captura la torre blanca y fin del juego. Pero cuidado que en esta posición se tome la torre blanca con la torre negra porque si no queda el rey blanco ahogado y es tablas. Saludos y buenas noches !

This is actually draw... The only mistake that judit did was she put her king to the corner which is obviously wrong...thats the most terrible moves I ever saw. Just seeing the remaining pieces you can easily say that the only thing you can win there is by putting the opponents king at the corner...which judit polgar did..😅

It's a draw but folgar made a big mistake when her king moved away from the middle of the rook file and putting it to the corner.
I agree with "josepedro's" comment below. Why didn't she just play the Rook to F8? Why did Judit, with a rating of "2665" prematurely resign?
