I will say that if Dug leads the Big XII in assists, we have at least one All-American, we have a top-5 defense in the nation, and Ugonna leads the country in blocks, anything less than a natty appearance will be disappointing. Out of your predictions, I think the most realistic are that we get at least one All-American (even if 3rd-Team or Honorable Mention) and that Achor shocks folks.
This starting lineup is going to be lit!! One question though, when Chimobi committed to k state you did a Charles Barkley and guaranteed that he would be in the starting lineup, do you think Coleman Hawkins coming in effects that at all?
Absolutely, my guarantee probably shifts now. I think in a world where we don’t land a top 3 player in bball at his position I stand by it, but we’ll have to see how it plays out. That being said, could still see him have a sizeable impact. I think with the energy Mobi gives, he could be a hell of a role player and energy guy in his first season with the team and then see what it looks like in 2025-26 in terms of starting if that alley is open.
