For women, i highly recommend using a handheld bidet sprayer instead of this as the front to back guideline still applies even when using a bidet. If you don't, you're essentially spraying bacteria from the back end to the front and that can lead to infection. So use a bidet handheld sprayer that allows you to spray from front to back, also able to aim where you want it and then dry thoroughly using a dry towel or toilet paper to prevent infections. 🙂

FYI, I got a bidet attachment for my elderly parents because my mom kept saying if she ever got to where she needed help wiping, she'd rather go into a nursing home than have my dad or me do it. As a couple of white people, we love our toilet stool and bidet. The stool makes passing so much easier, and the bidet makes clean up a breeze. Both of them are amazing if you have a stomach bug too, because the water won't irritate you like constant wiping with TP will, and the stool will make the process more comfortable, especially if you're short like me.

It’s better for the environment and we save about $300 a year on TP. It also has helped me, someone who has a highly sensitive bottom, lots of pain. After traveling as an American citizen in Southeast Asia for 6 months, my life goal is to get a water spout installed right next to my toilet if not a full Toto toilet that has the waterspout automatically built in it. Why does America not have this automatically? Americans need to travel more and learn from Asia toilet room/use tips and proper hygiene in the nether areas.
in our country back in the day if we find a toilet without water installed next to it we use a small bucket and a plastic cup that has a hand to it and wash our asses by hand and we leave it there .

I do the same! In Germany many people just use toilet paper but I saw people from others countries use bidets, buckets etc so I bought something for me and I wipe before and after to feel really clean. Love it and when I travel I take something to clean with water with me.

As a couple of white people, we love our toilet stool and bidet.
The stool makes passing so much easier, and the bidet makes clean up a breeze. Both of them are amazing if you have a stomach bug too, because the water won't irritate you like constant wiping with TP will, and the stool will make the process more comfortable, especially if you're short like me.
I don't even need the stool. I just straight out doing "asian squat" 😂 It was the best.

The first thing my Korean husband and I did when we moved to the states was to get bidets installed in all three bathrooms and the powder room. The plumber was a little confused until my husband explained how great they are. Oh, we had two urinals put in too, one in the master and the other in a guest bath. Second best idea.😊

I convinced my family to get bidets in 2020 during the toilet paper crisis lol. No regrets whatsoever. we haven’t owned toilet paper in so long.

It also has helped me, someone who has a highly sensitive bottom, lots of pain. I used to get my bum irritated because of my ibs from wiping so much but now i feel clean and great.
