The Gemara relates that Rabbi Yehuda HaNasi said: The fact that I am more incisive than my colleagues is due to the fact that I saw Rabbi Meir from behind, i.e., I sat behind him when I was his student. Had I seen him from the front, I would be even more incisive, as it is written: “And your eyes shall see your teacher” (Isaiah 30:20). Seeing the face of one’s teacher increases one’s understanding and sharpens one’s mind.

כבוד הרב: העניין של הלכה למשה מסיני -
Is so overwhelming! משה רבנו must have had a photographic memory but in ORAL memory! How many ענינים are there that are identified as הלכה למשה מסיני ?? (I don't know the answer). But משה רבנו memorized all of them- no tape recorder. No Torah Anytime video!! No written notes. And the beautiful גמרא about השם placing משה רבנו in the Shiur of רבי עקיבא, who when questioned by one of his תלמידים about a statement said: הלכה למשה מסיני!!
