You have absolutely no idea what seat kinetics do then. The name ‘seat kinetics’ clearly has nothing to do with them conforming to your body shape...they’re supposed to move their top/bottom parts slightly on longer trips so your blood flow doesn’t stagnate from your body not moving for hours..
The cla is a cheap car and everything inside is cheap
Exactly this, seat kinetics are not massage seats. They are indeed meant to change the way you sit inside the car for hours on end.

I'm considering getting the 2021 CLA 4MATIC- any opinions on things I should watch out for? also have you driven it in the snow, the ground clearance seems low :/
I just picked up mine in Canada. 4matic is standard. I think it’s low, but not super low. I was sold on the style and certainly impressive with the look. Other than that, the interior has improved by miles comparing to the previous gen. seats aren’t comfy. You won’t be disappointed if you like the styling of the car. That’s about it.

Door closing is something you have to get used to. I think it’s because the seals have to be quite strong on the frameless door.
Like I think if the windows are all the way down it closes a bit easier.
Get yourself a tidy 90° adapter for the front USB though.
Aww the leather is too hard, cant quite close the rear door so sad lol

Mine is cla250 and its a 4matic so im nkt facing this issue, its pretty good, and about the back doors i usually have people sit in the back but never faced this issue before
Get a lightning to usb type c cable. It’s not hard and the switch to type c is great bc it is really the best port.
why is it the best port?
Miguel Gutierrez USB-C is great for a car because being reversible you can connect without distracting too much.
I think that’s what they mean.
But yeah, CarPlay in the armrest ports would have been great.
Interesting review. I think if you've never driven a front-wheel-drive car that's always going to be something you'll have to get used to. Hell! One of the fastest cars on the nurburg ring has a front-wheel-drive bias (Megane RS)
Also, should have considered the 4matic. My brother in law said "get the cla 250 4matic (which I did) because you'll regret that you didn't get the cla 250 4matic... I guess that's how you guys feel? 🤷♀️
If it was a finance issue why not have considered the saloon a class 4matic? It drives just as well with more possible options than the CLA?
Did I forget to mention that I love my CLA 250 4matic too?
are there any other problems ? i am planing to trade my GLE 359d coupe for the new 2020 CLA 250 not sure if its good decision or not

Thanks for the Video guys :) Here are a few opinions also as a 2020 CLA driver :).
-So the kinetic seats "feature" normally has nothing to do with the seat itself. Nomrally u are setting your seat settings to memory. :) When u want more comfortable seats, there are full lether ones available.
- When ur freinds are not able to close a door, this has nothing to do with the car. I dont have any problems with the Door closing. Dont forget that ur driving a entry class car. There is no softclose available. I got more problems with the "no ones is sitting in the rear but its detecting that the seat belt is not connected bug...."
- I like the handling of my 220. Its really sporty :) But i think these are special preferences. When u have drove a rear drive all the time and then changing to front rear car, its a biiiiig difference. ^^
-In my opinion, its the best desicion from mercedes to switch to USB C. Its just the new standard. U actually dont have to use "adapters" for ur cables. There are so many "USB-C to Lightning" eg. available on the market (Aliexpress is my favorite for cables like that :D). On mine i have the roller cup holder (dont know the english name of it. The Cupholder, which can be hide with the slide mechanism) and im using a 90° angle usb-c to usb-a adapter and a 15 cm lightning cable for carplay. It fits perfectly under the "slider" so im not seeing the cables :)
-What i miss the most, is a dynamic turning signal like the ones from audi. And also the rear turning signal could have be done in better led optic like the VW and Audi ones :/
Of course there will be 2 face lifts within 6 years. Maybe they have already planned to fix all these things :D

Front wheel would be pull aft wheel would be push. Think of it like a shopping cart. That's how you can tell the difference. Awd would be pushpull
I totally agree with the uncomfortable seats of the AMG line model, especially when seated too long, you feel tired after getting out of the car
I just got the new cla , 2 weeks ago and I must say . I totally agree with everything y’all said . The seats are so uncomfortable and stiff . I hate the usb-c port also .
Glad you agree. Yeah they definitely could have done a better job, but hey, if those are the complaints then it can't be that bad right?
There is no back up camera either in the 2017 one
exactly my feelings too . but i love the shape and curves and the dings and the dongs and the screen . the suspension is too rough for my liking even in comfort settings

I am awaiting delivery of my 250e. I deliberately chose the "luxury" version rather than AMG (Europe spec) especially because of those seats! I felt uncomfortable after a 1 hour test drive in the AMG spec car! Wish you could get the "normal" seats with everything else AMG line! (I don't think non AMG line versions are available in North America, so I sympathize with anyone I'm the states/Canada with those uncomfortable seats. They also block any view out for rear seat passengers.
A note on the 'kinetic seats' this is just a function to slightly move the seats around from time to time, seems that even Mercedes knows those seats won't be good for a long drive!
I had a special build and will be getting it in late summer or early March. I haven't seen one yet on the road. I got the denim blue 4 matic. Is yours the 4 matic? Maybe that would help around the corners a little bit even though I heard that 4 matic is still front wheel biase.

You have to have it as an option
You can get the navigation as an option I got it for like 2k I think
2024. Yep, everything about to have a USC port. Even iPhone has switched to type C charging.

They chose the cheaps car to review and I can agree with the seat but it’s actually some what decent for a four cylinder, four Matic it’s probably the best four cylinder there is

@@avramovvlada7727 acceleration is very good for its class. The turbo lag is minimal and when you punch it around 3-5k RPM's it accelerates nicely
I only can help with km/h.... So its just 6,3s to 100 km/h.
