This mega multi million dollar house is located on Entebbe road in the prime areas of Garuga. It is a 3 storage house with three self contained bathroom each and a beautiful terrace on the last flow over looking lack Victoria.
Giving up your country to go and hustle in the diaspora is something very hard but this amazing Nurse made the best out of it.
She has spent the last 24 years of her life working and saving up until this mega multi million dollar dream house has been put in place.
She bought land through her good friend and that's how she escaped being scammed but had to face the unprofessionalism of engineers. She said being able to design her dream home had been an absolute joy and.
Construction and real estate in Uganda is one big investment regardless of social status.

Beautiful house. It is always good tho have another master bedroom on the first floor because as one ages taking the stairs up and down becomes a challenge.

All you need is a 3 bedroom self contained bungalow with a little sustainable garden backyard to retire into at old age ..less costly ..easy to maintain 🌹

The house looks amazing ,thanks for such a good plan and besides being near the lake .it has agreat view.
It will be a beautiful house when finished. My only thing as a retired person is with all those steps, it will be hard for a retired person to navigate. I certainly couldn't walk up to the top floor. I pray for her good health which will enable her to enjoy her hard labor.

I am sure that was an oversight. Looking back now she probably would be thinking she should have put in a lift.
Here in Australia, it is a common thing to put lifts in even a single storey house to future proof the house for the latter years.

it's a beautiful house and well-done to both of you. I saw a bed room down stairs but was it self contained? it had a toilet next to it yes but here I am looking with the future very much in mind when climbing the stairs becomes a bit of a chore and staying downstairs becomes the norm?

Beautiful house but a small bangalow is enough for retirement. I can't imagine doing steps in my senior years; also the maintenance cost is high. Plus, we also need to see the world instead of only investing in an unpromised retirement age.

She still has a long way to go to complete the house. The most expensive part is the finishing, which she hasn't done. Hopefully, she has the money to do it.

For all those who are not aware Uganda allows dual citizenship as long as you have not denounced that you are Ugandan and taken up a different nationality it’s possible to have a different citizenship and still hold your Ugandan one I hope that helps you understand

She has both citizenship, she's allowed to hold both passports, Ugandan passport and a British passport.

Wow, that’s a gorgeous & spacious three/four storey building, however I suggest they should’ve installed escalators or a lift as walking up all the stairs won’t be so lucrative & convenient during retirement ages…ouch 😮😢!
My thoughts too but u can't install a lift as an after thought, it ought to have been included in the original design...
Of cos escalators / lifts need to be an integral part of the initial part of the plan at its inception!
