Ghent was bombed by the Allies in 1944 but luckily none of the bombs hit the historic center.
4 10 21 Hey @@Ozymandias1, Thank you for letting me know. I did some reading about Ghent & WWI. Luckily, it didn't have a lot of damage then either. The town is an architectural treasure. v

Welcome back buddy, happy to c u on again
Ghent is well known for its large public squares and marketplaces, chief among which is the Vrijdagmarkt (“Friday Market”), the centre of the life of the medieval city. Of Ghent's many famous medieval monasteries, the most notable are the ruined 7th-century abbey of St.
Being Belgian, I agree that Ghent is absolutely a must for art lovers
I hope to work in Belgium for NATO when I get older, I wish I could live in Ghent or Antwerp instead of Brussels, but the commute may be too much. With remote work hopefully, I could work in one of these cities, while being close enough to NATO HQ for anything I needed to go to.
So beautiful a city it is!
Beautiful! I'll LOVE to visit one day!
Such a fabulous video. Great Camera work. Well done 👏🏻
