Angel Hernandez working the rocking chair in a AAA game - precisely where he needs to stay until retirement. Actually, if he retired today, I'd wish him nothing but long life and good health for his family. He'd be doing the baseball world a huge favor, so it's the least I could do in return.
Hehe ... I don't really keep up with MLB much anymore. I just enjoy Lin's analysis and that of some others as well as top play videos. I was wondering why Angel Hernandez wasn't coming up more in these videos. Now I know! :)

I feel bad for Moncada... you're trying to get back in shape and get back to the bigs, and lo and behold Angel Hernandez shows up. And when you pinch yourself and try to wake yourself up from this bad dream, you're left with a giant red mark on your arm, because yes, you're awake and this is real.

Bummer. I figured he just disappeared. I'd never wish injury or pain on anyone, but I really hoped he wouldn't return. MLB needs to start somehow punishing umpires for being terrible. The union is so lame and there possibly should also be an age limit.
When players hit the minors for rehab they don't wear their MLB uniform.. why is he in his MLB gear? This is exactly where he belongs... in the minors.
Angel Hernandez sucks! The only way Angel Hernandez can become competent is with the use of the electronic strike zone. Then all he will do is look at the batter and say "don't look at me, it was the computer who called that a strike"

The existence of Hernandez as an umpire tells the whole story of what a woeful lack of control MLB has over the umpires. What a sorry state it is. Perhaps Hernandez can rehab to his base level of terrible. Ugh.

I’m glad to hear Angel is back on the diamond after his eye surgery.

He's STILL gonna blow calls with that eye surgery.
That tag at home may be the worst tag I've ever seen at the professional level
That looked like something my child's little league team would do
Angel looks good in AAA. Maybe he should stay there.
I was thinking the same!
Kyle Schwarber must be smiling from ear to ear hearing his best friend, Angel Hernandez, is coming back.

Blindness and stupidity cannot be rehabbed.
