Get a bunch of planes to fly in the opposite rotation of the storm to cancel it out !

J Sharp I estimate someone in a few hours will try and comment with. "You idiot! That wouldn't work because (insert the knowledge just learned 5 minutes ago about hurricanes from a RUclips video.)" No insult to you.

That was a great idea ! I wonder why no one has thought of this before.I will come with my newly refurbished veteran propeller aero plane and participate anytime.

How come the storm didn't swallow the plane?

As long as its flying faster then the hurricane wind speed its fine, even though it will be a rough ride

Anita Mmayie Going in a easterly direction from the US going across the Atlantic Ocean over to Europe will often fly in the jet stream in order to get a good tail wind. Wind speed up there some times reach 100-150mph and more. As another commenter said, it's safe as long the plane moves fast enough wind speed wise, to avoid an aerodynamic stall. When I went to England from Florida, it took about 8 hours to get there. Back to Florida, it took around 9.5 hours to get to Florida.

I thought airplanes were supposed to fly around major storm systems, not straight into them.
