    My dad (1933-2019) was born and raised in Selma and graduated from AG Parrish HS. He is buried in New Live Oak Cemetery there. I would have loved to have shown him this slideshow - he would have really enjoyed it! Thanks so much for sharing!

    Wow good show. A few lost me but I got the location of most of them. Not to be picky, but the Gibson's Discount Center at the very end doesn't look right. The Selma store was much larger and distanced lots more from the sign. Still, bravo.
    It's so sad to see the shape of the town today.

    The prosperity stopped, when Joe Smitherman left office.

      The prosperity slowed when Craig AFB closed.

      @@mr.d352 Perhaps lack of planning after the closing, went into full effect. Other cities have successfully dealt with base closings, after the cold war ended.
