That guitar is gorgeous! Can I come over to play?! Better yet, can I have the guitars you don’t want now that you have this sweet blue denim custom guitar?! Congrats, Landon. I would have wanted that color too. It’s a major dream come true!
I have one of these bad boys in what is essentially Heritage’s version of Gibson’s Factory Burst. It’s my number 1 and it’s not even really close. The pickups sound amazing, the neck feels amazing. The pots have the perfect amount of turning resistance/torque. I can’t say anything bad about the guitar. On top of that, it’s like $2k less than an equivalent Gibson Custom Shop R9.
EDIT: I don’t have a weight relieved version. Mine is 8 lbs, 10 oz. Would I like it if it weighted less? Sure. But this doesn’t really bother me. I have a 3 inch wide Levy’s leather strap that does a pretty good job of distributing the weight. If you want to try something crazy light, go try out a Harmony Jupiter Thinline, which comes out of the same Kalamazoo factory in Michigan. Those weight like 5.5 lbs. Absolute madness.

Some days I’m mad that I woke up.
Wow that thing is beautiful! One of your RUclipsr compadres Tim Pierce did a video on a special build for him from Heritage.. Long story short I happened to get a tour at the Heritage factory and was able to see some of the Tim Pierce special wood that they were using.. Well, that led to me being able to purchase a short run of Tim Pierce's spec guitar.. Okay I'm going to say it!! It is my dream guitar.. 😅 I'm selling my Les Paul which is now my nightmare guitar!! I have no business owning my Heritage but wow is it incredible! I can't say enough about those guys from Heritage! Love your videos dude! Keep rocking!

I'm right there with you on 10 lb guitars and baseball bat necks. A friend of mine has an R9. The pickups sound fantastic but I'm just not willing to suffer to that extent.

Totally gorgeous Heritage Core in River Blue, love the natural back, sounds great! But oops, expensive guitars require large music rooms. I wonder is the Heritage headstock more robust than Gibson's?
